SEE THE YOUNG ASWIN SCORED 100 AND THIS IS AN EXAMPLE FOR GIVING CHANCE TO YOUNGSTAIRS I/O ONLY SACHIN GETTING PREFERENCE. LET THE YOUNG ONE COME INTO TEAM. SHAME PLAYING 22 YEARS ONLY FOR OWN RECORDS
Re: ASWIN

Yes absolutely shameful for Sachin! Only 94 runs and the second highest score in the Indian innings. He should be dropped for the next Test and never picked again.

one century cannot match 99 centuries.even a nursery class student knows that sachin is a class [player and morover he is most consistent player in last 3 or 4 years

As you say, if he plays for his own records, ultimately which team is benefited because of that ?? Indian team only. So his 15000 odd runs and 99 international centuries ( in old days no player would have even dreamt those many, Mr.Bradman included ) has benefited Indian team only, na ? See the tremendous pressure this man is carrying, due to people like you expecting him to score a century in every innings, for 22 long years and still performing today also at this age ! He still has excellent eye, excellent footwork, excellent body movements and over and above all urge to dominate the bowling ! Now due to age and restrictions on some of the shots due to earlier injuries he can't dominate as he wishes. So be prepared for the 100th 100 soon. Don't worry. He will not go without that.

well done anand sir, people like priyadharsini and issac, are always critizing the people. So, don't worry about these people's idit commets.

Neither Isaac or me have criticised Sachin. Both are just saying that ppl are unreasonable and too demanding on Sachin. You're criticising 'idiots' who agree with u.:)

Not always anand. When a player goes for his record during a game when he could have taken a risk and provided more runs for the team, in ODI for ex, is a case where it goes against the team. But yeah it does help the team a lot provided he can do that under pressure too.

Which only Ashwin can do - according to ur logic. Dravid, Sehwag, VVS, Gambhir, Dhoni were all busy making personal records at Wankhede. Eh?
Sammy you are true to ur Words and did break the hearts.Where is Wadekar who was talking about destiny and stuff?Told u guys Sachin cant play in pressure.
Re: Where is Wadekar

Silver Mani !! Can you please let us know any other person in cricket who has scored 99 hundred and playing for 100th ?? How many people scored 100s 100 in cricket. If you have any then please ask them about the pressure. If not then admire Sachin effort.

Raja jee how many players played 184 Tests and almost 500 ODIs?Guess if Sangakarra and Kallis have that chance ?(They have better test and ODIs average thenSachin).
This pitch was specially prepard for batsmen so that Sachin can score 100th 100.See how the west Indies batsmen who couldnot score even 200 runs in first innings at Kolkatta, scored almost 600 runs here. But still Sachin fails.

Pseudo, you are giving only very very special appearances...thse days...constant disappointments on aussie, sachin and dhoni fronts has really bogged you down...

You are right Bongale. Sachin again missed it. It shows he couldnt handle the pressure.
No doubt he is a legend for Indian cricket. But May be he requires to forget the 100th 100 and play his natural game. Sachin pls foget 100th 100 and play for India. We all love you always Not for your 100 but for your class.
Sachin definitely lacks the temperament but we still love him...

by Raja Pattanayak on Nov 25, 2011 05:53 PM
Murali, I guess he is playing for India!! I haven't heard he changed his nationality and started playing for some other country. :)
When a person scores consstently in 80s and 90s even after 21 yrs in cricket and still you call him a bad player???? what is wrong woth you guys?? The bad thing is your wrong and unnatural expectations and your feeling that everything should go as per your likes and dislikes. Crazy guys , you all are. With the statistics and the average and the current scores, he is indeed the greatest cricketer of this era and will remain so. Get out of your idiotic mindsets please and let him play a few more years of fruitful cricket for the country without undue pressure. have a heart guys and be Reasonable.

Yea right. But Sachin is expected big mate.
No one can question his class. But we also need him more to groom the youngsters. How long you think his stamina will support. So we want another sachin clone or sachin like. I have good respect for him but equally as a fan we want to be the best critic.
You know what, we all want Sachin to go out on High. Cant imagine his form slump and he call it quits.
Re: Re: Re: wrong way of thinking
by Raja Pattanayak on Nov 25, 2011 05:57 PM
So you are saying cricket has to retire bcz of their age not bcz of performance. Are you kidding me ?? :)I don't think sachin played so badly in both the format. Its just people expectation that every time he goes he has to score a century. This is ridiculous.
If you go by "UNPRECIDENTED Knock" then Jack Kallies has 12,000 Runs and 260 Test wickets. This is TRUELY Unprecedented. When Sachin completed 12,000 Runs in Test he had only 43 wickets to his credit. BOTH Playing at an average of 56.34. Since 12,000 runs are common , Jack Kallies's assets of 200 more wickets than Sachin makes him MILES Ahead of Indian God.. It is simply that Indian fans have NO Sportsman spirit to applaud Jack Kallies
Re: Jack Kallis Vs Sachin.............
by Matte Matte on Nov 25, 2011 01:31 PM
Narang, it is simply that some Indian fans also dont have sportsman spirit to understand Sachin's greatness!
OH NO, FREDUP. what is big about 100 the person playing last 22 years and total innings 807 and more. how many good player come and played like ganguly an example etc., bcci kiked out good player from the team only for tendu to no one. if tendu in the team nobody get highligted if they make records after records. let tendu get another 22 year more chance for record.

there problem is that they can not do great things like sachin hence trying to throw stones by sitting on the bank. ignore yaar.....

Come on man this was a sarcastic remark for Sachin Bashers. Sachin is of course on the greatest batsmen of all times.
Poor Lad. He just missed his 100th ton, a milestone in the so called Gentleman Game. Its learnt that he got disturbed by the slapping incident of Sarad Pawar who is his welwisher and who was instrumental in getting OC to his new Villa in Mumbai and cancelling the fine slapped on him by the MDA.

Sachin is not indian team, BCCI gave opportunity to Raina, Kholi, Badri and so many players, but no one was shined why? because they don't have temperment. Even Ganguly's debut in 1992 but he shined only after 4 years. No other players played 22 years. In this test we are all focusing sachin's 100 century, what about the other player. Why Shewag,Gambir, Lakshman not scoring more than sachin. people like you always put the comments for cheap publicity
