Why are we so much obsessed with Sachin scoring a 100. Is nothing there in Indian cricket than Sachin's 100. If he cant score a century against a 2nd rate West Indian team, when he will. Due to age the reflexes go down and I do not think he will ever score a century against a top team. Is there any test matches against Bangladesh or Zimbabwe? BCCI should arrange one quickly. Look at Rahul Dravid. He is "the wall" still.

mate, agree with u on the first part of ur comment. thr s much more to this game than sachin s 100.
however, i disagree with the second part of ur comment. sachin s drives and reflexes are as good as ever. just that his ability to control himself and tame himself down is an issue these days. @ 38, he s as good as a 25 year old. doubt his credentials can be questioned as much as u did.
the wall however is the wall indeed - insatiable appetite for runs and performance. hats off !

Moorthy, whether he gets a 100 or not, will u get anything? Other than that your blood pressure and sugur will increase :)
he is no great as to be compared with god or almighty.we indians should be ashamed of comparing a human to be a god .see the god is failing .so how come is he a god.and he has taken so many sooo mannny innings to create this score given so many innings to gavaskar azharuddin or pataudi or dravid they would have scored double of what he has done,so it is the number of matches as he played which enabled him to score.he has played 10 times more of gavaskar and 7 times more of azhar and 30 times more then pataudi and 5 times more to dravid.to score so little
It is sad that he could not achieve it today also. But looking at positively, it has proved why 100 century will be be a great achievement. Had it beenh a smooth journey, nobody would have realised how difficult for any body to achieve this outstanding feat. Near impossible. But, I am sure, it will come sooner than later. Hats off to the Master.
