Not necessary. Already the government has too much of control than necessary. Let the laws of the land take its course than the government which is far worser than any institution in this country!!!

Shame that congress party is making such people as MPs. He was involved in Match Fixing when he was leading the INDIAN cricket team, now you placed him in Parliament just for some Muslim votes. God knows what he is doing now.

To say Kambli is not worth enough to be taken seriously is a shame to the nation and BCCI. He was one of the best left hand batsman India ever produced. You think its easy to point fingers at people like Azar who have the blessings of the D-Company. Hang Azar.

Kambli scored two double centuries and on century in his first seven Test matches !
It may be absurd,if someone from Kambli calibre claiming this tall things after 15 yrs of that incident. But same time looking at the event, apart from Sachin and himself..no other players had played their responsible shots in that match.
And, after then..It was collective effort from Azhar, Jadega, Prabhakar, Mongia who were banned due to allegedly involved in match fixing in many matches...and banned for their life..
Im not saying what Kambli is claiming, is correct...but there is nothing wrong to set up an internal investigation to find out the truth( which we know it won't come out cause BCCI officials are certified crooks aalong with ICC President)..
Because everybody is feared of jail after seeing so many crooks in Tihar and chargesheet agianst corrupt people in full swing.
Althought Kambli maybe saying the truth, its the case of once a thief always a thief. And that's where Azhar and the BCCI would like to capitalize. Azhar when asked about the allegations, started digging the past of Kambli instead of refuting the charges and proving them wrong. Azhar was already tried for match fixing and had to retire from international cricket bcos of that. India's legal system is not that strong hence he got out thru power and influence plus minority status while hansie cronje could not. Now, BCCI is coming to Azhar's rescue else would itself be caught in deep trouble as its a cartel run by BCCI and one of their source of income seems to be match fixing!!!

IT Seems allegation are true.I always suspected this match.Tendulkar was relishing his dream till he was playing everything was good suddenly we lost six wickets.Out of those six wickets two were of match fixing suspects i.e. Azhar and Jdaeja. There is one more match which was also fixed probably in that the opposite team scored 302 and india was hundered somehing for five after that Azhar and Jadeja scored hundereds and we still lost the match by one run which was weared how can the most capable plyers at that time could not finish the match when everything was in grip.Azhar was definately involved in match fixing and the allegation of Kambali should be investigated. But it is not nice on Kambalis part to come out after fifteen years he should have spoken earlier.
else, how can he remain silent for 15 years n tell the truth now. when prabhakar spoke a capt who offered him 25 lakhs to throw a match in lanka, he named kapil. but after investigations, kapil gets scot free n prabhakar comes under suspicion.
y did the sa fielder gibbs spilled a simple catch of ausi capt steve waugh to complete his century n win the wc for his team in 1999. sa was playing under the captaincy of none other than cronje who then admitted his role in fixing.
