It was decided the Yuvi will be captain after his string contribution in WC. But all politics - The team selection criteria
1. Dhoni's insecurity : Dhoni always ahve a insecurity that Yuvi can take his captaincy
2: Raina VC : Because he is good friend of Dhoni as his wife. And both play for Chennai.
3. Selection of Ashwin instead of Rahul Sharma :
Rahul play for Pune ( Yuvi's team ) and Ashwin play for Chennai.
4. Selection of Badri instead of Rayudu:
Because Badri play for chennei.
5. Selection of Ishant Sharma :
Because he play for Kolkatat and new caption is from KKR
Can team of jokers explain about why Saha and Rohit Sharma selected aHEAD OF RAIDU. When will he get international experience. Its sheer mindless decision.
Incredible seclections. Wriddhiman instead of Uthappa. Vinay Kumar instead of the in-form RP Singh. Why are these players playing - Harbhajan, Kohli, Gambhir and Yuvraj. Havent they had enough. West Indies is a totally decimated side and the results matter least here. And I am definitely hurt not to see Ambati Rayudu there. Rohit has been given lot of chances, most of which were squandered - the guy has no backfoot technique and cannot face pacy bowlers. Why not Rayudu?

there is always some thinking given by the selectors... when ppl like you can think, can't the selectors think???
parthiv and saha are specialist wk, whereas rayadu is a batsmen who got behind the stumps... same goes with dravid and uthappa... why have they not continued to be stumpers??? coz its not really easy to wear a glove and stand behind it...
simply, we need a wicketkeeper batsmen not a batsmen wicketkeeper... rayadu soesn't fit here...

Vinay is good but RP is definitely better. BTW - who is going to open apart from GG, will it be PP?

Talking about players who had plenty of chances which they squandered, RP Singh will definitely top that list! He has had far more chances than Rohit.
So you are not being consistent in your arguments.

So Sorry for your Thoughts.... may be RP got more chance than that shit head Rohit, but do you justify his selection?
It is good to see Rayudu excel in IPL. This should be a slap in the face of Both Shivlal yadav and his arrogant son Arjun. Arjun is a useless cricketer. It is because of these both jokers he had to move away from Hyderabad. A talented individual will shine anywhere ( Rayudu). Look where Arjun is probably cooking at home.
Re: Excellant Rayudu

You are 100 % right i watched closely with regard to arjun behaviour both shiv and arjun to blame rayudu proved himself what he is let us wish him regds
The politics in Hyderabad cricket made him a rebel and it is good to note that he is in the mainstream now. He should straightaway get selection ahead of Saha as second wicketkeeper. He needed international experience at the earliest. Rest of the selected players are fine. Rayudu could have been preferred even ahead of Rohit Sharma, but at least as a second wicketkeeper. Saha will be just a passenger for the tour.
Re: Quota system..

I agree, but if he performs consistently for another year in domestic cricket, he will definitely make the team.
He shouldn't worry and focus on his game. Anyway IPL has taken care of his future for the rest of his life. So he should just concentrate on his game, score big runs in Ranji, Duleep, Irani trophy, etc and it is just a matter of time till he is selected to represent India.

There are lot of excuses given for not selecting Rayudu, but the question is why Saha ahead of him. This is terrible decision, and bviously merit is not the reason. If he has talent to walk into Indian team, why not now? What kind of advice are you giving to an youngster who has been performing well in domestic competitions and IPL? Selectors are clearly biased here, to say the least.
I do not agree with the article as the omission was due to sheer politics and the reasons are well known to the people who are very closely and deeply knows about cricket and the proceedings of the past and present....

all fools are talking about rahul sharma becoz of his performance in IPL wothout thinking that west indies tour is just for one 20-20 game and five 50 overs game. tell me how many have heard about rahul sharma before IPL. its becoz he has not proved himself in 50 overs games in domestic cricket. In fact he has the porrest record comparing mishra, ozha and ashwin and need not mention harbhajan

Harbhajan can take a break, the guy is insecure and hence wants to continue playing this series.
