WHAT AN EXCITEMENT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IF TOP 8 TEAMS IN ONE GROUP A AND MINNOW TEAM IN ANOTHER GROUP B, AND LET THE BEST FOUR TEAMS FROM EACH GROUP HAVE KNOWCK OUT QUARTER FINALS AND THAN SEMIFINALS AND FINALS. IF THIS WAS DONE THAN MOST OF THE MACHES WOULD HAVE BEEN EXCITING, ABV 90% OF THE MATCHES WERE THRILLED. AND IN THAT I AM SURE INDIA WOULD HAVE BEEN NOT ABLE TO MAKE IN THE BEST FOUR AND IF QUARTER FINALS MIGHT HAVE BEEN EBTWEEN ENGLAND VS IRELAND AND IN THAT IRELAND WOULD HAVE UPSET ENGLAND, WHT A JOY IT HAVE BEEN IF THE WORLD CUP WAS SET LIKE THAT, BUT ICC IS A FOOL & STUPID BOARD NOTHING ELSE NO COMMON SENSE THEY HAVE TO MAKE THE CRICKET WORLD CUP EXITED. ANYHOW THAT'S IT.
I feel all the interested nations should be allowed to play cricket with each other as per ICC rules. and every 4th yr which ever 8 team are top in the list should be allowed to take part in WC. this way every series will be like a WC QF for each cricketing nation..... any comments??????

There should be more tournaments before world cup instead of bi-lateral series.
The best format was of 1992. There should be 8 top teams in WC which have qualified this time for QF. All the teams should play each other & there should be semi finals. No QF's needed. Each & every game will be interesting similar to 1992 WC matches. Believe me no boring game

I agree..1992 format was the most exciting & Comprhensive. Teams had to do a lot to qualify for the semis. Even Australlia , West Indies got wahshed away in the First rounds due to real tough fights..
