I WOULD PREFER THE TOP 8 PLAYING NATIONS AND FOUR TEAMS MADE UP FROM PLAYERS NOT REPRESENTING THE TOP 8 TEAMS AND PLAYERS FROM ASSOCIATE TEAMS. THESE TEAMS CAN BE NAMED AFTER PRESIDENT , SECRETARY ETC ETC OF THE ICC. THIS WILL GIVE OPPORTUNITY TO ASSOCIATE TEAM PLAYERS TO RUB SHOULDERS WITH PLAYERS FROM TOP TEAMS LIKE THE IPL REPRESENTATION.
I WILL PREFER 8 REGULAR TEAMS AND ALONGWITH THAT 4 TEAMS COMBINING OF 7-8 PLAYERS FROM THE ABOVE TEAMS WHO ARE NOT IN THE PLAYING 15 AND ALONGWITH THAT 7-8 PLAYERS FROM EACH OF NON ASSOCIATE MAKING A TEAM. THIS WILL BOOST THE SPIRIT OF THE ASSOCIATE TEAMS ALSO AS THEY WILL BE PLAYING ALONGSIDE GOOD PLAYERS LIKE THEY ARE DONE IN IPL. THESE TEAMS CAN BE NAMED AFTER THE PRESIDENT, SECRETARY ETC ETC.
WC final and Semi final should had been held in bigger stadiums with atleast 50000 capacity to cope with the demand of the tickets and as such more and more people could witness onground action. Unfortunately the organisers have both the important ties in Mohali (28000) and Wankhade (25000). Instead final should had been held at Eden Gardens with (70000) capacity. India is a big country and the demand for tickets is more for a cricket match. BCCI should make stadiums like MCG in major cities so that this demand and supply for tickets can match.
With little ten, total 8 or 10 dos'nt matter. Top 3 (Winner, runner & second runner) qualify automatically and remaining 5 or 7 from ICC ranking including so called minnows. Do you agree?
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR PAKISTAN TO BEAT TEAM INDIA AT MOHALI , IT IS NOT A VERY GOOD SIDE . I WONDER HOW THEY REACHED SEMIS . THEIR BATING & FIELDING IS A WEAK LINK & INDIA’S BATING IS STRONG .

PAKISTAN IS A STRONGEST TEAM. DONT THINK IT WILL BE EASY FOR INDIA. IT WILL BE A 50-50 CONTEST.
