Do not take pakis lightly as they are vurnable to go any extent to win the game. Please check the shape of the ball or any mark after every over (remember aussi & w.indies were good team but they lost their quick wickets for cheap score). Be prepared with mental thoughness, that is most important.
Looking at the NZ win against SA, confirms my believe that collective efforts, team unit, playing for common cause are the most most important factors required for good performance.

i will support dhobbi too.if he quits.i dont want 2007 to happen again.where dhobbi was out for 0 in super 8 match.india was out of Wcup before semi finals.
If SL, win today..then 3 quarterfinals from Group A and one from Group B..will it be lucky for India..by the way my prediction was no team will meet each other more than once in WC..let us see if it come true..if it is true the SL will be out...
that means SL cannot meet NZ and Pakistan cannot meet Sl or NZ..so will it be India vs SL
If, Dhoni sheds his EGO & selects from a team perspective, India can definitely beat the Aussies & can definitely beat Pakistan in the Semi-Finals who are a weaker team when compared to Sri Lanka, South Africa or even Australia.
Comments of Anil Kumble from the league stages. 1. It is good that Dhoni is persisting with Chawla inspite of his failures. He is keeping confidence in his leg spinner. 2. Nehra & Gambhir should play in Kotla because it’s their home ground. Before the West Indies match, he did not talk even a single point for the inclusion of Ashwin or Raina in the team. Now, also he is not talking about the inclusion of Sreesanth instead of useless Munaf. From this we can very well judge the decision making capabilities of Kumble.

I think it is time dhoni practices a few strokes in the nets as his batting in the team has become a a cause for worry.
The best team for the game against Pakistan is 1. Gambhir. (If Sewhag is injured) 2. Tendulkar. 3. Virat Kolhi. 4. Raina. 5. Yuvraj Singh. 6. Yusuf Pathan. 7. Dhoni. 8. Ashwin. 9. &nb sp; Zaheer. 10. Harbhajan. 11. S reesanth.
1. Taking singles is the middle overs is the key to success which Virat Kolhi & Raina are best at. 2. Yusuf Pathan should be sent when spinners operate because he can handle them easily & not in the power plays when Umar Gul is operating. 3. Munaf patel should in now way be selected because he does not know to Bat, Field or Bowl. In comparison, Sreesanth is a better fielder than Munaf, can score at least 2 runs/hang around & is a much more aggressive/strike bowler than Munaf/Nehra. 4. Also, Ashwin who is a better batsman than Harbhajhan Singh & Zaheer should be sent after Dhoni. 5. Power plays should be when players like Yuvraj & Kolhi are batting who will not throw their wicket easily.
6. If Tendulkar & Gambhir play responsible & see through the first 8 to 10 overs without losing an wicket, definitely we can beat Pakistan.
If Dhoni continues to isolate Sreesanth with that useless Munaf Patel, he is ruining the chances of the Indian team with his ego.

Looking at the way sreesanthbowled against bangladesh, you still want him the team? I agree, Munaf too is average, but at least he has reasonable control over his bowling which sree does not have. Sree is a better test match bowler than ODI's.

Even the great Sachin has also failed at crucial times. Sreesanth has failed in just one match but these craps Nehra & Munaf have been given 5 t0 6 opportunities and even now these are liabilities even to the Canadian team. So, do not judge Sreesanth by just one match. It is the habit of you people to xerox copy the comment of others without knowing the importance of pace bowlers who can bowl at more than 140 KMs/Hr. Shaun Tait/Bret Lee may be erratic but they get the breakthroughs or even wipe the tail enders which a Munaf or nehra cannot do with their 120 KMS/Hr pace.

You are exactly on point. Munaf in the current team is not bringing it to the table. He simply has no aggression. Munaf seeks to have more control on line and length and hardly bowls a tricky delivery. Zak gets hit for runs a few times but people fear him because of his ability to come back. Even yorkers during death overs cannot be expected from Munaf. He is too predictable and one-dimensional. I think Munaf is a better bowler than what we see now - he can bowl more aggressively just like Jacob Oram yesterday. Because Munaf is a defensive bowler choosing him automatically puts you on the defensive. Sreesanth is a good wicket taker but he is starved of opportunities, we dont know why. During the whole SA series Dhoni did not bowl him a single time although PK was hurt even then. Sree should have been given at least one more chance. Perhaps Dhoni should bring in Munaf quicker with the new ball when he can be dangerous.
pakistanis are good in playin in spinners..i think its time to bring..some 2 peacers...i guess..zahher shuld start bowling wid sreesanth....as pakistanis is unexperienced to sreesanth...and again aswhin n bajii will be helpful in middle overs... team shuld be
