Let us trust Dhoni till WC. He is India's bet now. No one can take his place.
I agree that pressure on him is 2 much. Still I am sure he will come up with a some kind of plan in remaining matches. Lets trust him. All the media should support him at this hour, so that he can gain confidence. H HE SHOULD NOT FEEL LONELY LIKE HE DID AGAINST WEST INDIES. THATS MY GUT FEELING
Get some stone thrown at some one and get injured and bring in Laxman (Nemise of Australia). That will be enoguh for Australia (half dead before seeing Laxman in the team) and can win easily.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also put a bomb in Munaf and Nehra's room and bring in Praveen Kumar/Ishant Sharma. Seeing Munaf and Nehra, Ishant has started looking like a legend.
in a long tournament it is highly desirable to peak at right time. india needs to peak in QF,Semis and finally QF. peaking is required mainly on following front. 1. while chasing. 2. bowling attack to stop leaking runs 3. dhoni/yousuf/raina impact.

but pakistani batsmans don't know how to bat. They won matches because Aussie team is not in good touch since longtime and Srilanka just choked at last moment. If Indian team can score 297 against Steyn and Morkel, they will definitely score 400 against paki bowlers. MSD's favorite team is Pak(check his average). He never flopped against Pak. So, stop portraying like an Indian in your message inspite of being a pakistani. We Indians can figure out pakistani easily.

I follow Sachin and Dhoni and I love Sachin. I want to watch him playing till I live in the world. May god give him few more years taking mine. I shutdown TV when Sachin is out.

This is being presumtuous, I think PAkistan is being given too much credit here,I doubt Pakistan will be entering semis, this team's batting chokes at the last minute, they don't have a dependable batting lineup to win and Windies will take full advantage of that. And India still need to win the QFs against Aus.

Well you cant say Pathan was useless; Dhoni experimented with him which went wrong; Probably the only failure was against WI where he was not experimented; but one odd game should not cost you the team; Pathan is in form and has ability to hit as well as to handle the situation in case of collapse; He does not look at the situation of the game; His bowling has not fetched him wicket but he is not proving to be costly so it is affordable; You should have atleast one such player in your team who can hang on and create unexpected result though the probability is dynamic.

Well I didnt noticed your comment properly but when I went through it second time; I found that it is unnecessary to comment on your comment as your sense is showed up when you want Ashwin to bat ahead of inform Yuvraj :)

Drop gambhir and keep Pathan. Kohli shd bat 1 down and is a much better fielder. Gauti causes run outs and not in great form either. And sreesanth for Munaf is a must. He will get on the nerves of some aussies.

Pathan is a big match player and he has done well in crunch situations while chasing in the recent past..maybe a call between gambhir and raina shud be taken i think..
Re: SA will win the cup
by SurendraKumarRaja on Mar 21, 2011 05:01 PM
Do you think that luck will be always with them like last Ind vs. SA match. Next time, India will not leave. If India is in finals, no chance for SA.
Indian team performed well in all matches. Don't expect everyone to click in all matches. If it happens, Indian team will score at least 400 in all matches. England and SA match result was because of Dhoni's poor decision making (though he rarely does so). Guys, all the minnows in group B were at least 100 times better than the minnows of group A. All teams faced heat against those minnows except a few occasions. do you agree?
Re: Indian Team
by Vishwanathan Anand on Mar 21, 2011 02:53 PM
but it takes more than this to be in / win a quarter final or semi final.... Forget minnows, but against 3 other teams ie. SA, England and WI we could WIN only against the west indies, that too not in the ideal manner....
Re: Indian Team
by Waqaas Rumani on Mar 21, 2011 02:54 PM
Exactly. People tend to forget the fact, that India lost only once that too in the final over to South Africa. They have even beaten Australia in the warm up match. So far if we consider warm up matches also, it's only India and South africa who have lost one match till now. India also has a draw. India will Australia's butt for sure in the quarter Finals.
Re: Re: Indian Team

Loss was because of MSD's bad decision and I think he learnt lesson quickly which was visible in yesterday's decisions esp bowling changes.
From now on all the numbers will not be treated alike. It will all be like ICC rankings - complicated but just. A century against Namibia will not be treated at par with a century against australia. Century in pressure situation will be valued more. A match winning knock will be considered as more important than I also scored a century. This scheme also take in to account the number of matches played in total. Openers with long track record like Tendulkar will not benefit from the new system. This is made to incentivise real contribution and not mere addition to numbers. So much for Tendulkar.
Re: New system for records
by Vishwanathan Anand on Mar 21, 2011 02:59 PM
so just because his team mates scored only 30 odd runs and lost 7 wickets to SA you would rate his knock below par.... what rubbish, f--k this sys which doesnt understand that cricket is a team game and if a team loses b'coz of non performance by others shouldn't make A player's knock less significant....
in post match talk smith mentioned that they were dominated by viru and sachin to limit....

You did not leave any % for ICC?
Anything is possible,India is under mafia control..I just read that the doctor who did the autopsy of Batcha, the aide of Raju has resigned 15 days before doing the autopsy !!
That means murder, autopsy, everything was planned in advance. And now this doctor will contest in MLA elections !
Why is Karunanidhi and the doctor put behind bars ??
