The only way to beat Aussie is to bring Laxman on ground and let him do patrolling around the boundaries; or forget it; Aus can loose world cup only if they play in their country considering no host nation has ever won (except SL but they did it in Pak)
Well guys, here is a girl having great cricketing knowledge and she writes very good things. But one strange thing in Tammana, She follows Sachin and Dhoni together. Oh Gosh here on rediff, people just cant see them together, always fighting over these two

Check this info in Cricinfo before opening your mouth....it was vaialble before the start of match
India will play all their knockout matches in India irrespective of their opponents. Sri Lanka will play in Sri Lanka unless they play India and Bangladesh will play in Bangladesh unless they are playing either Sri Lanka or India.

You are wrong. Not all knock out matches. There is no semi final match in India. How India can play here semi final.

fool; it was decided before the world cup has started; that host will play the knockout in host venue only; and in case there is a clash of two host nation then the host nation which is ahead in ranking will get the advantage so it was decided before the world cup only that India will play always in India in the knockout stages if they are able to reach.

Ratnakar Shetty had already clarified that matches are fixed in such way that Team India has the best possible conditions to win the World Cup as it suits the sponsors who have doled hundreds of crores in this world cup. If India loses early then all of their money will go down the Arabic ocean like it happened in 2007.

This was done so that the knockout stages dont go empty ground; and the worst would be even if the home country is in knockout but playing in other venue.
The statements below are not in support of Sachin or any other player, rather than highlighting a point. I have reading some of the comments directed against Sachin throughout the league games.. he is ill-luck for the team, if he scores a ton India will lose, he is selfish etc. After reading them I feel people are so naïve and immature to comment..criticizing him for the sake of..they put him under a microscope everytime…what for? What is Sachin’s primary job in team?-He is a batsman, he is doing it with sincerity at this age, when the remaining players would be half fit as he is now. You can’t doubt his commitment for the game..what else do you expect from him..score a ton, take 5 wickets, execute 5 run-outs and 5 catches in every game!!! This holds true for Sehwag, Gambhir as well. They are doing their job reasonably well. Are others doing? Come one folks..cricket is a team game and there is no doubt that Team India had failed collectively to perform in all the departments..there is no commitment from most players in Team India..teams win by collective performance and not alone by individuals..it would be incorrect to criticize one person for the non-performance of others.

I think as a batsman Sachin succeded but the criticism comes when he leavex Dhoni alone.
Remember Sachin praised Gary when India was winning. but he never praised dhoni. Dont you think in this hour when Dhoni needs support, Sachin should come and give new ideas to him. Infact dhoni takes all the blame.

How do you know that D] Sachin is not supporting Dhoni..if you have read an article couple of days ago..Dhoni himself admitted the need of having Sachin in the team for advice...can't you see them discussing on field during matches whenever Scahin is present you just talk for the sake of..

I want to bring to the notice that When India is winning Sachin, Gary, Dhoni they all take credit. But when India is loosing, everyone is blaming Dhoni. Dont you think that type of criticism of Dhoni while WC is going on is right. Captain must be given confidence.

So if Dhoni wins accolades for wins..he needs to take brickbats for losses It is not unusual.. Because Captains large ly take decisions for field setting, choice of players,bowling changes etc
Pakistan win over Australia really messed up the points table, idf India lost they would've palyed Sri Lanka and as they've won they play Aus.[probably the toughest opposition for India in the tournament] No matter who wins in India vs Aus. QuarterFinal, I've a gut feeling PAkistan would lose to WI in the QF. Mirpur stadium is the same ground where Windies bowled Bangladesh all out for just 58 runs.
It will be India v/s Pakistan in Semies and India v/s South Africa in finals. Of course india will win both courtesy Sachin, Shewag, Yuvraj and Pathan.
