After losing to Pakistan, Oz media is asking for his head, if he gets out of World Cup losing to India, more likely Aus. selection panel's dayz are numbered and his career will be in the hands of cricket Australia CEO[whatever decision he mite take], SAchin has been given such a status, the Indian board even if want to[which I doubt] could'nt do anything against him, but he no longer will be pick and choose the game he wishes to play. My fear is if by chance Pak win their tie against Windies, the bookies and cricket board mite try really hard to fix the Aus v.Ind match QF, in favor of India, for revenue generating Ind v. Pak final, so I'm hoping PAkistan loses against Windies, their win has screwed up the points table for India, if lose they mite've played Lankans and won they're playing the toughest team of the tournament.

correction pakistan vs australia semis and pakistan vs england final and pakistan looses due to heavy money given to the PCB and england comes out winner of 2011.
India's all attempts to defame and degrade Pak went in vain ! Ha ha ....even without Asif, Amer, Butt, Zulkarnine(fled to England) and Tahir ( playing for SA),they beat Aussies like a minnows . And they will also beat India any day in the week and at any corner in the World on their day . India's no.1 position is not justified unless and until they beat Pakistan in series away from their home time and again !

What a performance? oops m talkin abt India.. If India had to face Aus then OZ's would have scored 350 and skittled India for say 200 and odd somethin. Coz their world class bowler HARBHAJAN is useless in his home country..Nehra's high pace is so dangerous that no.9 batsmen are smashing for Miandad style six. breathtakin performance from India.. like always depends on run rate or other teams to loose to qualify fwd.

You right, Ponting n Clarke will get back into form against India. The Indian bowlers will help the Aussie batsmen (all of whom have been floundering till now) get back into glorious form in the Q-Final.
Even after worldwide conspiracy to out Pakistan from cricket arena, they are marching forward to capture the world cup. A classical example and Almighty's might!

Mr Ashok, u were saying in reverse way. AUS were desperate to win last nite match to avoid India in QTR. Cause they know very well they will be knocked out in QTR.
Now, u see PAK will be eliminated by WI, who are aways good against Pak.

we should face AUS rather SriLanka, cause they are more stronger than AUS in subcontinent pitches.
And, it is always happens Pakis stops AUS's golden run be it 1999 or 2011, similar way WI always do the same agnst PAKIs. Hope, things will repeat history.
But same time, we cant deny the fact where we are standing,it is because of our own fault. If a team cant defend 338 runs or 13 runs last over, then what do u expect.. Or else we would ve sitting at top, and facing NZ..the weaker team in top 8

INDIA has never lost to PAKISTAN in WORLD cup by history.....if you watch carefully SRI lanka cant chase more that 270 easily...ALSO SEHWAG SACHIN have always slamed MALINGAz n all SRI Lankans.
INDIA has better chance against SRI LANKA always than AUSTRALIA.
Importantly Pointing is a gr8 Captain when AUS 200 to defend. And no hopes from our USELESS DILLE INDIAN BOWLERS.

Ponting is a great captain? Must be joking man. He was riding on shoulders of McGrath, Warne, Gilli, Hayden. Now, all retired, and his captainship exposed meserably. He is a great batsman, years back..not now. HE is a failure who is waiting from management to be sacked after the debacle of this WC. Im sure AUS will be knocked out in QTR final against mighty India..And mind, AUS are never good to face spin attack except Mike Hussey.
On subcontinent pitches, Srilanka is much stronger than AUS. Rain disrupted that match or else u would ve seen Srilanks sitting at TOP

My dear friend, partially im agreed wht u ve predicted. But if u look at current form, SL is more dangerious than Aus. So, India will never allow themselves in such situation. We will win against WI, and will face Aus.
It is always Pak who stop Aussies golden run, be it 1999 or in 2011. Similar way, it is always WI who stops Pak whenever they meet after 1992, it will be 2011 qtr final. Wait and watch
