INDIA shd LOSE with WI today to aviod AUS in Quarter Finals

It is better we LOSE with WI....and just play it as practice match.

if we WIN today with WI then INDIA will have to play Australia in QF which is bad for us...and good for Pakistan as they will play WI a Weak team considering pakistans good bowling.

While if we LOSE we will play Srilanka in QF while Pakistan will Play England.
ENGLAND is always tough opponent to Pakistan compared to WI while Srilanka is better option for us in Quarter Finals than Australia.

REMEMBER PAKISTANs LOSS in World CUP is as good as a WINING mini World CUP HEHEHEEEE our useless DHOBII team can win only if matches are fixed or opponent plays poorly.

Outstanding entertainment, but still sad
by French Cuisine on Mar 20, 2011 12:12 AM  | Hide replies

Apart for the 2 teams - Kenya and Canada, every team played good entertaining standard cricket. England specially has been awesome and I think even they can not tell what is next. Personally I would like to see England Vs SouthAfrica in the final but realistically speaking England will be out in QFs. I was rooting for India to reach the semis and would consider that satisfactory, now even that seems distant. I still hope that SouthAfrica will go on to win this WC. Still all games have been interesting, and who could have predicted all this stuff. Amazingly every team has faced defeat and Aussies ended 3rd in Group A table, and England lost to 2 minnows!
Today is a sad day for us. We hate both Australia and Pakistan, but was expecting that Australia can win, so that we can get NZ in the quarters. Since Pakistan beat Australia on the back of solid bowling performance it shows us that inspite of all the hype Indian team has gaping holes in their own bowling. Had the bowling been a little stronger (probably even one good seamer along with Zaheer) our team would have fine balance and capable to win the cup. This pits us against Australia in the QFs and this is really bad news. Hence I am now ditching the hopes of making it even to the quarter-final stage, my only remote wish that my other favorite teams: SA and England can finish with the cup, and Dhoni be ousted after losing out in the quarter-finals.

I dont think you understood what I wrote. You appear to be a Pakistani living abroad probably the US - is it not? There is a fair question - if you guys are so fond of your country why do you go and settle abroad at every opportunity? I think that speaks volumes about the sht that Mush dragged his country into - I would support Pakistan for only their cricket and happy that they beat Australia, but I cannot after the loads of evildoing you threw at my country. Singapore is probably deserving to be in the world cup more than Pakistan due to all the crimes of Musharraf and his Taliban friends. Enough said!

For the BCCI, Pakistan's loss will be the next big disaster after India's loss !

A 10 second advt. on TV will be worth Rs. 35 lakhs if India enters the semis !

And if Pakistan is there (without India) in the semis, one slot would be worth 22 lakhs !

If neither India nor Pakistan reaches the semis, then the advt.rates would tumble to less than Rs. 3 lakhs !!

So, Pakistan's loss in world cup before the semis (or even in the semis) will not be a happy proposition to Pawar and co. (though they wont give a damn otherwise if India wins the cup or not) !!

And commoners, like 'bakras', feed the BCCI's never ending greed with their stupidity in following cricket !!

Pakistan gives itself a chance
by Arvind Aravindanatham on Mar 20, 2011 12:03 AM  | Hide replies

Well Pak bowling finally defeated the Aussies after 12 years, it was the last team to dfeat them and era of Aussies'peak started, this probably shows the downward spiral of the arrogant aussies, as they finally are put in their place after 12 years. Anyhow Pak gives itself a chance to play the weakest team in group B, it is an entertaining side, and its bowlers are probably the best in the world.

Mush - this world would be a better place without you and people like you. The way your team performs sometimes, West Indies might actually beat you in the quarter-finals. So dont be over-confident.

india will definitely loose to avoid clash with aussies but since india thinks that it will be a smart move it will prove fatal against sri lanka, as sri lanka will comfortably beat india. india will not surpass qf i wish team india to win and play against pakistan in the finals but india and sa are not teams for big matches like world cup. so lets see what happens next
