Very well said about India and West Indies teams. Many lovers of cricket would have lost hopes of India finishing as champions after seeing their pathetic performances so far.
to beat aus will b easy for us....'m surprised by mr.stuborn approach....he mentioned muslims and ol...wow anywyz...negativ approach under any circumstances wont b acceptabl

I just wonder why all guys want India to lose today.....Aussies r not invincible anymore....even if they r ...so whats wrong if we meet them in QFs....if we fear them...we better be regared as minnows.....just be optimistic....and we have all what it needs to any team.....if we cant harbor this approach...then may be we dont deserve to win wc.....India will surely win upcoming four matches no matter whom we face.....chak de India......

if you have all that when why team india fails to defend 270 plus score? Why our batsment efforts get wasted evertime everytime?....ANYWAY I DONT WANT TO DEBATE ON OUR USELESS TEAM.
But we can always select best options and try DEFFER tough teams to later stages then why not....IF WE CAN fight it OUT with anyways we will have to play all of them....WHY NOT TAKE SHORT-CUT if its Available for us......
Also INDIA losing WI wd mean will mean PAKISTAN will have to play ENGLAND instead of WI.....ENGLAND HAS BETTER CHANCE OF Upsetting PAKISTAN than the WI for sure....they the recent bowling chnages ENG did in last match n ENGLANDs strong batting.

England's strong batting collapsed so many times in the series.....losing to Ireland and Bangladesh and after a fantastic knock 4m Strauss,they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory as they all say....If a team is not feeling confident about beating this depleted OZ team then they are not deserved to get the next level.We should learn some spirit 4m Pak team. With so much trouble around and after getting defeated by NZ they fought back with OZ and won the match,spectacular performance by the Pak team....Team India is quite capable of beating all the teams in the WC 2011. I m sure they have learnt some lesson in the match agst SA and would like to prove a point in the next level.They have been playing good cricket since 2-3 yrs and love to continue that.
Only thing,they are not able to show a good performance in the ICC events and this time around they would love to prove it wrong. Jay ho India.... bring home the WC.

I see lot of BEGGAR PAKIs and TRAITOR MUZIumz POSTing on rediff (see their ids) saying INDIA shd win AGAINST WI....They want INDIA vs AUS in Quarter Finals (THAT is for their own benifit). They give all possible reasons like its COWARD to willingly lose aginst WI, AUS is easy oponent compared to SRI LANKA in QF etc.....REMEBER its about planning n choosing best OPTIONS u have....No one is SCARED.....So its about being CLEVER n SMARTER....NO ONE IS GOING TO SAY YOU BRAVE if you knowingly jump in DEEP SEA when u have BOAT then its SHEER FOOLISHNESS

India should try to lose to WI today, or else they will not go beyond QF stage. But we have a good chance of winning againt Lanka in QFs. Our bowlers are totally out of form, so our batters have to always make 350 plus to win.

Your assessment may come true. If India faces Australia in QF it may be curtains as Lee, Jhonson and Tait will sort out Indian batsmen. QF against SriLanka, we have 50:50 chances.
What a performance? oops m talkin abt India.. If India had to face Aus then OZ's would have scored 350 and skittled India for say 200 and odd somethin. Coz their world class bowler HARBHAJAN is useless in his home country..Nehra's high pace is so dangerous that no.9 batsmen are smashing for Miandad style six. breathtakin performance from India.. like always depends on run rate or other teams to loose to qualify fwd.

@Abdul UR VERY TRUE...dont know when we will bring good young bowlers and STOP repeatig same old horses which are all USELESS they replace nehra with RP then him with pathan then again munaf then again sreesanth....BHAJI is the most USELESS in TEAM AFTER DHOBII, PATHAN.....ALTUALLY only players who really deserve to play in 11 are SEHWAG SACHIN, GAMBHIR AND YUVRAJ.
We missed deserveing palyeRs like UTTAPHAM, ROHIT SHARMA, DRAVID, KARTIK etc all we kept OUT by DHOBII to aviod competition to himself or he might have thought thay could not be fixed.
ALL USELESS POLITICS.
ALL OTHER OTHERs ARE USELESS N INVOLVED IN MIXING MATCHES.

If u dont like Indian team playing cricket,simple dont watch india's match....why so negative about the team....u r not the selector here....They have to play with team they have in hand....so chill....enjoy the WC....enjoy cricket....dont be so obsessed with indian team...just watch cricket.....

It looks as though Pak may win the world cup. They have one of the best bowling attacks in the tournament. India should try to lose today's match so that they meet Sri Lanka instead of Australia in the QFs, and can reach at least SFs.
Hello MSD how many experiments you are going to do at the cost of your own team ? Enough is Enough. Send the craps like Munaf, Nehra and Especially Chawla out of the Team.

we infact missing praveen kumar....he is great swing bowler....very handy in conditions like thnis...even can contribute with bat too...anyways...i think...munaf patel n piyush chawla dont deserve to be in playing even.....

india has beaten aus in world cup warm up match..this australian batting line up is weak..everyone except watson is somewha out of form...If India selects the right team combination then we can easily beat the aussies...

this is why india shd prefer losing today Play Srilanka in QF. 1)INDIA has beaten sri lanka MUCH MORE TIMES than AUS. 2) all indian batsmen have good record against SRI Lanka. 3) MALINGA has been hit all round by SEHWAG, sachin n company many times. Other bolwers are average. 4)SRI LANKA DOES not have strong batting except few batsmen in form like Sanghkara, Dilshan n Samaravera. While M Jaywerdane has not performed till now. 4) Srilanka does not have depth to chase down 270 plus runs 5) most imp AUS come with fully working tactics n game plan....POINTING is gr8 CAPTAIN n CLEVER in setting filed n taking opportunities.
I KNOW ON GIVE day with our USELESS BOWLERS, USELESS MIDDLE ORDER BATSMEN(except YUVI), usless DHOBII its not going to be easy. STILL SRILANKA is much better.

@girish I have already told in my post Its not about being scared it about being clever and play by your strengths.
INDIA have best batsmen like SEHWAG, SACHIN, YUVI, GAMBIR but all other in team r useless....whats contibution of DHONI, PATHAN KOHLI, HARBHAJAN NEHRA etc in team?
We cant defend any score with these useless bowlers. FAct is even MINOW teams dont scare our BOWLERS n hit them CHEAPly....
ULTIMATELY WHAT MATTERS IS RESULT....not un-neccessary risk taking team to SAMEFUL defeaat...
