All well said; but what the so-called experts (Arm-chair cricketers) forget is that Cricket is a bizarre game. India is now sure to enter the last-8; thereafter, it takes only three games, that too in the Indian conditions, to achieve the target.
Don't forget also that with this same under-rated bowling attack, Inda has occupied the No.2 spot in ODIs.
It is strange that noone is saying who will win the cup, while they are cosk-sure that India will not win it. The reason is obvious, all teams have shown their vulnerability. Aus team is one which was not tested so far, thanks to the abandoned match. But their batting has not clicked yet, as it used to, and Kenya did stretch their bowling.
So, let's hope Team India rips apart all these 'expert' predictions!

Well indian fans are flimsy beings. Most of them have no idea about the game nor does know the abcs of leading. Which reflects in our life and corporate world as well. There is this whole fantasy of a honest, ramji as captain. It is funny. Being an indian captain is not a bed of roses.
all Sachin bashers are hiding...this is happened after I started some simple DOSE to them... Bottom line is...give them some HARD dose and the will vanished.... They r simply loosers...don't treat them politely...

had azhar done this mistake of bowling nehra in the last over people/media would have screamed that azhar took money to loose the match.but dhoni cannot be blamed, because he has kept the media happy by obvious means.

Dhoni took the gamble last time by bowling spin, Chawla, against England and India lost it. If Dhoni had bowled Bhajji and India lost the match, Dhoni would have been blamed.
Bowling a seamer is a good decision and Nehra did that job before for India by bowling the last over is a situation such as this.
If Nehra did not deliver this time around, I agree Dhoni should not be blamed.

why are you wasting your time writing long love stories, are you HArsha Bhogle? nobody wants to read your comments.
Suppose if we would have scored 230 runs in 40 overs and scored another 70-80 runs in remaining 10 overs then it would have looked fine. Score would have been approximately the same.
Let us accept the fact that it is bowling that is letting down. All the world cup winning teams were great bowling units filled with all rounders and therefore I feel even New Zealand/Pakistan/Australia/South Africa could reach semi finals and anyone could win it.

Why?
It's because 7 wkts were down in the last 5 overs against England and 9 wkts were down in the last 10 overs against SA.
India could have won both the matches with just their batting. Batting is our strength and Bowling is our weakness. We go with 7 batsman and 4 bowlers. So, it's the batsman that needs to take the blame if they cannot bat through 50 overs.
Mr Dhoni, if you don't want your batsmen to hit the ball to the galleries, then why you sent yousuf pathan in place of Virat Kholi in the post two matches. You talk something and do something. First you correct yourself and then blame others.

india should play with determination to win the world cup. this is not ranji trophy and the players should play with a sense of purpose . team india should come out of the bush.
First of all after winning the toss indian should always bowl first...our bowling is most of the time pathetic...and to bowl the final over after the gap of 30 overs is a huge task...dhoni leave your ego problem and bring ashwin in place of harbhajan...
