get sreesant and ashwin back to the playing eleven. poor ashwin needs to get some match played b4 he gets to play at the quarters. and sreesant too - get him also played.kdm
dhoni had taken all risks... now he willgive rest to chawla..and some... now the real player will come ashwin , sree... this is captians another strategy.... hopeit will work...
Our wc team was picked ahead of the odi series in sa. He did not play chawla in all those five matches. And now he is saying that, since chawla is bowling after a long time, he needs support and he is giving him more chances to get him in to his groove ahead of the knock out matches If that was the case, then why didnt he play him sa? And is he taking wc matches that lightly, to give bowling practice to somebody? Surely, chawla was not kept as a surprise weapon, since he has played matches for india before and also in the ipl.
Dhoni says openers would perform better than what they have done. The opening stand is better when compared to many other teams. First of all Dhoni as a batsman needs some creditable performance. He cant ride on the back of others just because he is the captain.

I am endorsing the views because since long Dhoni has not layed any captain inning. He is the luckiest captain because if you go sincerily on indian side nowa=days balling and fielding is not uptodate mark. He is lucky because in bhim team , winning players are available like tentulkar, sehwag, pathan, yuwraj etc , But it is time that Dhone inspite of taking chawla , he should be sincere and serious as from today indian has to battle with toughest teams in world cup. It is not easy to win world cup . so caption inning is required now and dhone has to play inspite of depending others .

Well said kp. Its something which i was saying for long. He is being made to serve the role of a protective gear for useless bhajji.
Ideal 11 and order will be Sewag Gambhir Kohli Tendulkar Yuvaraj Dhoni Yusuf Pathan Harbhajan Zaheer Munaf Nehra Play 3 seamers and . Afterall Yuvi, Yusuf and Sewag can together fill in for the fifth bowler.

Dear Sehwag cannot bold with an injured hand and are you drunk for not giving Tendulkar to open the innings inspite of his mindblwoing century against England.
Gee - I cannot think about a better balanced side than SA. What is wrong with them is their mentality and tendency to choke from a favourable position, cricketing wise they have no weak links. India will win this one - but ONLY IF SA chokes. Let me point out that in the recent SA tour Indian bowlers performed well infact their performance was consistent and better than the batsmen. Here of course the bowling is a failure and SA should have no problems dealing with the bowling. Indian batsmen , leaving aside Sachin, dont have the technique to face Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn. Dhoni still has no clue as to the bowling formula. The only positive aspect is the missing Tahir who would have been a handful in the turning track. If SA bats first the score will be 290/6 after which Indians will be bowled out by 150-180 depending on Yusuf. Dhoni will say - failure of batting department and ball not coming to the bat. India does have a chance if they bat first, but it will depend on the SA choking situation.

India ranked as No.2 not No.4 as SA, India is unbeaten in the Tournament not SA and Match is in India not in SA. What more you need to be Favourite?

Indeed they are the most balanced side..but the way they lost to England..its absolutely unpredictable that will they emerge as winners
