I Still feel, Amit Mishra is far better Leggie in one- dayer than Piyush Chawla. I think, everyone forgot him :). But he hardly gets any backing from selectors/captain.
Dhoni please understand WC is not time give ur bowler chances, you dont have the leisure of making your players play and gain confidence, if one does not click, make other play....give Ashwin a chance...and also get rid of that cow faced Munaf Patel...he is another worthless fella....wish PK was fit...he is one good bowler after Zak...
The only positive so far is Yuvraj- He is doing quite well. Hopefully against the stronger teams also, he bowls well. Bhajji has been under the radar when Piyush is being talked about. In a crucial QF or SF match against a big team, Bhajji has to perform well, otherwise India will lose. Ashwin is damn good, also a smart guy. But then, is it too late for him to be included...may be?!
I don't understand Dhoni. When Sreesanth gives away too many runs, he doesn't back him. Neither does he gives him any matches to increase his confidence. Moreover, he blasts Sreesanth publicly. I have never seen a captain reducing the confidence level of any player in their team like Dhoni has done with Sreesanth. And with Piyush, Dhoni is very considerate.

Take off the kerala filter. He has supported sree when sree gave away runs, not when his on field antics went overboard. And sree never learns and only has himself to blame.
Either MSD is anti-South India or bisexual. These are the only two explanations that one can come up with his obstinate persistance with Piyush Chawla. Similar has been the case with the selection of Nehra. Why did we select him? Because he took 6 wickets against England way back in 2003. Why did we pick Raina? Again a case of regional bias or Dohoni's bisexuality. Do what you feel like, MSD, for you will only be able to do so until this world cup ends. And once it ends and we ain't won it, let's see what happens.
dear MSD! send him to Ranji cricket to infuse confidence. This is not the place for it. You may take him to a pub or elsewhere if you want to keep him in a good mental state. He needs to perform consistently to deserve his place in the team ahead of others.
Ashwin was selected due to srikanth and Piyush was selected due to Dhoni. In the process, they missed in form confident spinner Ojha. Dhoni is supporting and struggling with Piyush but not interested in wicket taking, in form Ojha. Ojha proved his skills in death overs many times. Look at the way Piyush bowling in death overs.. Too much politics still exist in Cricket.
