ICC should realise that even technology is not perfect and it shown us it can't correct main umpire's decision. Then, why on earth ICC should implement UDRC? Doesn'tmake sense.

you r speaking like taliban. do you know duckworth lewis system. it is very unfavourable to the team which bats 2nd. now everone accepts the system so everyone goes by it. india lost the game because of pathetic fielding and hopeless bowling. dont be a crybaby such things happen always. if we r no 1 we should be above it.

The hawk eye is an aid to decision making and not the last word. The additional rule that if the ball had hit the batsman at a distance more than 2.5 metres from the stumps, then, the rule says that the original decision will stand. It does not even say that the field umpire can review it. In this case, the original decision was not out and as per the rules, it stayed. The main principle is that with a distance of more than 2.5m to travel, the ball may turn or jump and miss the stumps and that's the logic. Blame the tie on Indian batsmen running one short off the last ball of the innings and Sachin Tendulkar's misfield on the boundary to give away a four and not on this decision. Besides, even if Bell had been given out, it was not the 10th English wicket and there's no reason to surmise that the later batsmen would not have scored like Bell.

if pitching outside the leg stump but hitting the stumps is a rule and is followed by everyone that it's not out then even 2.5 mtrs is a rule. If you cant follow rules then better not to play any game....foolish potti
Ian Bell was NOT OUT Dhoni is incorrect. If you want to change the rules same have to be discussed in proper forum. Not now. Middle of any tournament. Being captain Dhoni must know the rules, then only he should put any comments.

Dhobi is always stupid. when he talks in press conference- it looks some politicina giving a lecture or bhasan.
I m wondering how can Dave Richardson made ICC GM, Dhoni is right, if ICC want to use advance technology must stand with its output, if they think Human is better then technology, don't use it, nobody forced them to do so. It was your ICC's dissision to include Technology. Due to D.I.R.T.Y people like you, we lost (tied) this match.

Ashok, are you really an Indian? I have some doubts, your forfath@rs are from pakistan. WC is going on all Indian must support our team, does not matter who is playing, but they are playing as Indian Team. Jai Hind.
MSD is perfectly correct when he says that Adulteration of technology with human thinking is bad. Some body should tell ICC that rules are made by us, and mere existence of rules does not mean that an out can be notout. Rules should have been framed keeping in view of all this deficiencies in the UDRS.

shouldnt it be adultration of human thinking with technology? also, feel dhoni and others crying foul now should have raised their voices before the rule was accepted and laid down. once the rule is in place, you have to play by them whether you agree with them or not. it is like 75% attendance in class - why wont 73 or 74% do for your hall ticket?

MSD need to consider Umpire & UDRS bcoz he need match winner bowler not umpires decision. if your bowler not save 338 target so your team out of WC.

Nagoji:
Good. So why is batsman notout on a noball? Stupid rule. Right? Pitched outside leg notout stupid rule. Right? Hitting outside off notout stupid rule. Right? ;-)

if you feels rules not good, then leave with Umpire decision that is Not Out....
Indians only went for the UDRS for Ian Bell's LBW....

Then he should have discussed while going through rules and not now man!!!
Delhi Police should be commended for keeping waiting the joker and first class idiot Harun Logart during WI SA match. By the way in which planet this joker Logart lives, what is his nationality... Now this idiot is after Dhoni for raising doubt about referral...
Re: Congrats Delhi Police
by Rukmesh Singh on Mar 02, 2011 03:34 PM
First of all, 1. It is Dave Richardson who is questioning MS Dhoni's comments and not Haroon Logart. 2. Secondly, Haroon Logart is of Indian origin and South African national. Mr. Pawar (current ICC President) has succeeded him.
Learn to know the facts before showing to the world that some of the Indians are biased and stupid.
