Re: Nadal

I too suspect he acts when things are not going his way. earlier he used to slow down the game when he was not winning. he looked in great pain, but there was no sign of it in the last two sets!!! cheap tricks still won't save him from fedex in the final!!
Friends..just think..our test squad for England..Gambhir..Sehwag..Dravid...Sachin..Laxman..Yuvraj..Dhoni..Harbhajan..Zaheer..Praveen..Ishant..It will be a great team to watch..
Re: No reason to worry..
by Sunil Vaidya on Jun 29, 2011 11:02 AM
correct a indian, except for yuvraj. i dont see him in the test squad...it will be raina or kohli...
Re: Re: No reason to worry..
by A Indian on Jun 29, 2011 11:05 AM
I think Yuvraj will be better because of his utility to bowl left arm spin..do you remember..how he got Peterson in trouble most of the times..and also when we plays only one spinner..his presence becomes more important..
Re: Re: Re: No reason to worry..
by Sunil Vaidya on Jun 29, 2011 11:10 AM
yes, but in tests there is also sehwag raina who can bowl. yuvraj is mainly going to be used as a bowler in odis. just for sake of his bowling he will not be chosen ahead of raina...

WE ARE GOING TO HAVE VERY TOUGH TIME IN ENGLAND AGAINST ANDERSON & COMPANY. ENGLAND HAS THE BEST TEST SQUAD FOR THE MOMENT. SO WE NEED BEST TEAM IF WE WANT TO WIN A TEST THERE. THESE DHAKKANS LIKE VIJAY OR MUKUND SHOULD BE BACK TO CHENNAI. I AM NOT IN FAVOR FOR RAINA EVEN THOUGH HE HAS MADE RUNS BUT THIS IS VERY VERY WEAK WEST-INDIAN ATTACK MY FRIENDS. KOHLI CAN BE GIVEN FEW MORE CHANCES I HOPE HE WILL COME OUT WITH HIS PROBLEMS.
Friends, Please stop criticizing players like Rahul Dravid....Dravid along with Sachin, VVS, Saurav and Anil has contributed a lot to Indian cricket...Because of these guys only,,, we keep on (have been) watching test cricket. No worries if u r not willing to salute them but dont post rubbish...please.
Re: Its a request!!!
by A Indian on Jun 29, 2011 10:59 AM
Yes..you are right..these players are beyond any criticizm..we are too small to talk about them..
Re: Its a request!!!
by joseredd on Jun 29, 2011 11:20 AM
the most important contributers for india in tests are RD, VVS and Viru followed by SRT, Anil and ZAK.

ACTUALLY I FEED PITY FOR THESE GUYS WHO ARE WRITING RUBBISH ABOUT THESE LEGENDS. PEOPLE OVERSEAS ARE PRAISING THEM SO MUCH AND WE CAN NOT STOP OURSELVES WRITING RUBBISH ABOUT THEM.
Re: murli
by srinivas on Jun 29, 2011 11:04 AM
murli has done well in tests atleast so far except for ths series ,he also has a test century and more importantly he is only used as a back up for shewag and ghambhir.even if performs well he will be out anyway if shewag and ghambhir return

i really do not know why these new dhakkans are there when you already have class players like jaffer, rohit, rahane with you. even kartik has played very good innigs abroad in south africa and england. murli is a big flop show and this mukund has no tech at all.
Re: Re: Re: Enough for Murli..
by DABANG on Jun 29, 2011 10:54 AM
why they compare 20-20 with test cricket. 20-20 is just a time pass cricket. you can not judge any one real ability in 20-20 that is also on dead wickets.
Pl stop pushing club level players like Muruli,Mukund,Badri....to Indian team.See beyond Tamilnadu there are many talanted players better than these.....How many chances to Muruli (In all format)inspite of repeated failures,he can play only IPL that too on Chennai Pitch.Had you given so many chances to Robon Utthapps he would have sealed his place in Indian team.

Hope the selectors turn Professionals and start picking talent from India as a whole. Restricting selection criteria only to Tamilnadu is not what is expected from full time paid selectors. Be fair, it's a India to be selected Mr. Selectors !

The first session is always difficult to play in WI when the ball is seaming especially, it becomes much easy to bat after lunch when the sun is beating down, thats the reason even dravid got out cheaply yesterday.raina is fortunate enough to play after lunch. kohli, vijay, etc are not that fortunate
Re: Unfortunate Kohli,Vijay
by A Indian on Jun 29, 2011 10:49 AM
mate..there is nothing related to first or second session..its only in minds..it requires temperament..which comes with experience..
Re: Re: Unfortunate Kohli,Vijay
by srinivas on Jun 29, 2011 11:03 AM
thats what im saying, kohli vijay are not experienced,so its unfortunate for them tio made to bat at such difficult conditions straight away
Re: PUJARA PUJARA PUJARA
by DABANG on Jun 29, 2011 10:42 AM
yes most of them are not aware of this. but he is a genuine test player. rohit sharma should be in along with wasim jaffer if shewag and gambhir are not there.
after hanging boots, Sachin, VVS and Dravid can be a good driver, washerman, gardener, cobbler in their localities. No one will offer any decent job. So better they color their hairs and keep playing for India till the retirement age of 60.
Re: One thing is sure.....
by DABANG on Jun 29, 2011 10:32 AM
you are a big time idiot. before writing about them just see your own personal achievements.
our openers are as it is not doing anything-y not get harbhajan to open the innings and play badrinath/pujara in the middle?...for all you know-jayasurya also started at number 8, ended up opening!
