I agree, just because Vijay is given unlimited chances we should not debate on giving same number of chances to Kohli.
Whoever fails, needs to be dropped and fresh faces should be tried out

No. Kohli got chance very late. He should got chance 1 year back. He has played 3 innings so far in which once he was given out wrongly while he was looking very comfortable and set to play a big inning.

That cannot be a reason. He has some time to play tests, let him play in ODIS and then he can anyway be in.
Remember Raina played 100 ODIs before he got test chance. Im sure he will be a failure in tests now.

SITUATION IS BETTER THAN EARLIER SERIES WHERE THIS MINNOWS TEAM DEFEATED PAKISTAN IN FIRST TEST SO BADLY.

boss this is not indian or pakistan wicket. it is bridgetown barbados wicket. best teams have struggled here in the past.
The first session is always difficult to play in WI when the ball is seaming especially, it becomes much easy to bat after lunch when the sun is beating down,thats the reason even dravid got out cheaply yesterday.thats the reason WI Put India in.raina is fortunate enough to play after lunch. kohli,vijay,etc are not that fortunate

It is very difficult to find a suitable replacement for Sehwag and for the 7th Position(all rounder), For opening spot: ParthivPatel, PaulValthathy, MuraliVijay, RvUthappa, SDhawan, Man ishPandy, ARahane.
For 7th spot: YkPathan, IkPathan, RJadeja, PaulValthathy,
But we have an excellent replacements for Sachin,Dravid,Laxman.

EXCEPT PATEL AND RAHANE NONE OF THEM WILL ABLE TO PLAY IN TEST. IRFAN PATHAN IS FINISHED. MANISH PANDEY HAS TO PROVE HIMSELF BY PLAYING LONG INNINGS. HIS TECH IS OK.

Vijay is a gud player, who has told that he is not a gud test player. See his record; whenever he got an opportunity he proved his place in playing 11.
It is not that he is not playing well. It is the playing condition does matter.
For example see Dhoni & Virat, what they have done in last Three innings?
Do you say that it enough for Virat in test cricket?
As for as Test Cricket is concerned, Badri is a far better player than Virat. Who is Jaffer? Why do you want him in playing 11 that itself in W. indies?
Think about the future.
Selection committee is doing a fair job. Don’t post any foolish commands. Any reply for this?

should say mostly this is a sensible comment except i would like Pujara to be in the test squad in place of Kohli/Raina/Badri.He is the future No3 for us.His innings in SA showed a lot of promise.Also I dont see Badri succeeding in test cricket overseas.We should include Rohit Sharma and try to groom him.His talent is very promising.

make any one captain- gambhir, raina, parthiv patel or tom/dick/harry. it doesn't matter. Captain has to earn his place as a player first in any format of game. No where in world captain can continue in team in name of captaincy if he is not scoring. See case of collingwood. he was capatin of 2010 T-20 world cup winning team of england. But now he is dropped. Simple he was not batting well. this captaincy hype works only in india due to fanatic media & regional fans with political mindset
