Dhobiji on bouncy pitch
by ASHISH KUMAR on Jun 21, 2011 11:18 AM  | Hide replies

As expected dhobiji didn't trouble much to scorer on bouncy pitch.
Same thing he did on Australia & SA bouncy pitches.
Well done raina & bhajji.
Partiv patel always a better batsman than dhoni on overseas pitches.

Yes dhobiji didn't want to face fast bowler. So went early.
Though this WI attack is weakest in histort of WI cricket.
Just imagine dhobiji facing like of marshal/holding/roberts/ambrose/walsh on WI pitch.
Great scene of break dance.
The way he eas dancing against morkel/styen in SA.
Great scene of cricket

This U turn & y turn only suits to dhobiji political supporter to divert the topic.
I simply say dhobiji has never succeded in test match overseas on bouncy pitch against quality bowling. Prove me wrong with data rather than just giving general statement.
This WI attack is weakest in history of WI cricket still it may create trouble to dhoni

Congrats to Dravid and keep up the good work..
And you would have been little more cautious yesterday against Bishoo..Any how 40 runs is good comparing to Dhoni,Vijay,Virat,
Hope you have fantastic year ...
you have been the legend for India after Sachin..

India is 100 runs short from safe total.......
by Anurag Rathore on Jun 21, 2011 10:28 AM  | Hide replies

It will take some time to players to adjust in WI situation. They got no practice match. Raina and Bhajji played superb. I am little disoppointed with Dravid who got out after good start.

Gavaskar was the only batsman who could face bowler like marshal, holding, roberts etc.
Present set of players find difficult to even face B grade WI attack.
Just imagine the scene marshal/holding/robers/ambrose bowling to dhobiji.
It must be treat to watch break dance on pitch

He is a very good test Batsman. Considering he come way down the batting order and still managing to score decent runs.

If Harbhajan can bat so easily now , I think batting is not that hard nut to break, players can act in films and actors can play cricket, well all seems easy

Ask Harbhajan to open the innings or bat early in top order and you will see him(anybody) struggle. When the ball is old and the pitchtop wears off, anyone can steady the innings and play. Bhajji needs to perform as a bowler for india and not propo his position in the team thru some batting exploits.

Opening is always tough.
But player like dhoni(even middle order) fail on overseas pitches mainly due to lack of ability
