Congrats to the young Indian side on winning the series. However the side performance falls short of expectations. Credit is also due to young Raina as captain for the series win but has to go a long way to be a motivational leader. Perhaps that explains otherwise a possible clean sweep which they missed. Losing the last game really hurt because a 4-1 win would have been good considering overall circumstances. On the positive side only Kohli and Rohit Sharma came good with the bat and for all practical purposes should be part of future Indian one day side. Raina and Pathan disappointed with their temperament and technique. They mostly got out at the wrong time. Badrinath, a big disappointment but even otherwise is more suited for the Test version. Dhawan and PPatel do not look dependable for big score the way they got out repeatedly. On the bowling front only Amit Mishra and Munaf looked effective on those pitches. Bhajji was Ok but not good enough for his stature. Young Ashwin will have to innovate and reproduce his T20 effectiveness in the 50 over game also. Overall , Bowling is still a concern. Batting, there is lot of talent, only that the youngsters would have to mold them into the seniors mold. Fielding of course was world class thanks to the IPL. Raina & co. score 6/10

In test match- Imagine Indian team without sachin/sehwag/dravid/laxman/zaheer/munaf. It will be a club level team to be thrashed by all teams.

badri raina & dhawan were playing under pressure, and thought this was going to be their last chance.poor fellas fallen to victim of pressure cooker.
It is high time Virat Kohli replaces Rahul Dravid for the No.3 spot in Tests. As of now Virat is far more superior than Dravid in batting, bowling and fieding

It shows that you are living on statistics not on form. Series against England will show you who has cricketing knowledge.

Nayak u desrve to get admitted to mental hospital. Kohli is no match to dravid. Last SA ODI series kohli batting was exposed against quality attcak. Raina also exposed in same test series. Failed in all matches alsong with ordinary dhoni. WI b grade bowling attack doesn't justify your comment. All these younsgter not even 10% of what dravid/laxman/sachin is capable of in test cricket. Still kohli & rohit are best among younsgter along with pujara

watch "proper cricket" ,the test cricket.....have some knowledge abt ...footwork, technic, ability to pick line n length, how to play around "off stump"....swing and bounce are not for limited overs young players.....all these so called young players lack proper test cricket technics.....it takes a lot of doing on their part....none of them are in "dravi'd" class at test level....no.3 position in test cricket is "vital"....best player of any team plays at that position....not a 1 day player...dont know what u watched over the years when india played abroad on a good sportive test pitches ....kohli is a long way to go as a test player....still needs to improve his footwork and offstump game......watch ENG-SRI test match....get better knowledge abt test cricket and players ability

Kohli is a good player and can be an understudy to Dravid who is now 38 yrs old. But at present tense Kohli cannot be looked upon as a replacement to the man who has 31 test centurues and is the 3rd highest run getter in the history of the game. When Dravid chooses to hung up his boots Kohli will automatically take his place-till then let us enjoy the master & the student playing together.

well said Ananya. Its a treat to watch Dravid and Kohli play together, as Kohli treats Dravid as his mentor and Teacher.
How come the team did not utilise the DRS system. They could have won all the matches. All the umpiring decisions were faulty and against the team. In fact the BCCI is at fault. DRS system does not cost money. In fact the BCCI people are a bunch of fools.
1. India first team to win on home soil 2. India first team to win with DRS in place 3. India first team to win such a high score while chasing in finals. 4. India first team to win with depleted bowling attack. 5. India may be last team to win WC with full set of teams including associates playing. All other ODI series dilute in front of WC.
