Shame that one billion indians are still being fooled by the monotoonous never ending Test Cricket, 3 day cricket, etc, Shame, Hindus&Indians. It is time india and poor countries ban Test Cricket and 3 day macthes forever and Play ONLY T20 matches so that millions of man or woman hours are NOT lost watching monotonous test crciket and 3 day macthes, etc. BCCI and rulers are still behaving as slaves of Westerners, shame they have appointed white skinned westerners as coach, assistant coach etc paying millions of dollars though we have excellent indian coaches like jimmy amarnath, madan lal and so mnay other who can do better jobs than foreigners. BCCI and government must NOT allow more than 2 foreign players in each team and that will gove greater opportunity to indians as well. What a shame that BCCI and rulers are behaving as slaves of westerners even now or are they getting huge kick-backs in the deals involving forein players, etc, Millions of cricket fans must not allow our country to be looted again by foreigners and goreign business houses any more.Hope millions of indians are listening and that they will take necessary action to give justice to indian public and indian players and national honour and pride too.
VVS flicking deliveries pitched outside off stump to on side like it's nothing and making fielders chase like crazy is a sight to see, more so against Aussies.
This is one guy who makes batting looking very stylish and easy when others are struggling.
The look on the faces of fielding captain and bowlers is a sight in itself.
had his share of disappointments from BCCI..but he is level headed enough to understand the expectations and let go hs ego in favour of team India...result is the beauty in test cricket..hats off!!!!...its a lesson to youngsters in any field!!!!

Rajnikanth's visa application to Australia was rejected. He placed his hand on a boy who was standing in the line behind him and said..Revenge...the boy turned out to be VVS..

Yes, I agree he has taken the disappointments in his stride. He should have played more ODIs but for strange reasons, he was not favoured by board. He actually deserved to be in the team of India's ODI world champion team
i am listening / watching cricket from the days of GAV/ Chetan chauhan's opening... But of all those, VVS is really a gem....a player u can always rely upon..who is not a gambler or glamour..who in spite of all those runs and records.. has not turned solo in one advt... great player.. greater man...thorough gentleman......u can see from this page ... not a single comment against VVS... everybody is wishing all the best for VVS...
Its said that the most stylish batsmen ever was Victor Trumper maybe my great grandfather had an opportunity watch him. But VVS is our eras Trumper. We all would have had the chance to see Azhar ,Gower and Vishwanath. They were good on one side of the wicket but Laxman is grace on both sides It will be Lords privelage to have Laxman score a century there

Add Mark Waugh, Mahela Jayawardhane and Brian Lara to the list of stylish players.

I have not seen the batting legends of yesteryear's those likes of Sunil gavaskar, Kapildev, deelip etc..But for me the VVS laxman is the greatest test batsman team India Ever had..I only watch cricket test matches whenever India playing it's because of 2 players..because of Sehwag and VVS laxman...as one used to play hot as hell while other move heaven and earth. WISH U A TON @LORDS.
