You have saved and won matches
by Happy Friday on Jun 08, 2011 08:45 AM

It will be good to see you. To me beating Australia 2-0 in the home series was the foundation for winning the world cup. Good luck for your wishes. We all love to see you make 100 over there and win the game. One good thing about vvs is when he was dropped from one day, he accepted that (before 2003 worldcup as u were playing terribly bad at that time) and kept focusing on test.

I watch Test Cricket just to watch Laxman's elegance batting.
A True inspiration, Never Give up attitude.
Even though he was not part of the World cup winning squad, we should never forget the spirit raised by Laxman, Dravid and Dada and the winning attitude that hepled Indian cricket.

This is the attitude of these old cricketers
by Rohit Kumar on Jun 07, 2011 11:09 PM  | Hide replies

This is the attitude of these old cricketers like Laxman and Tendulkar . Going after personal milestones - century at Lords, 100 hundreds and other nonsense while cricket is a team sport. The new Indian team under Dhoni is the world's best because for the first time in history, the team plays as one unit bereft of individuals seeking milestones.

See completely what he said. "I never got a 100 in England. Hopefully, it would be very special if I get a 100 at Lord's and India wins the match,".
Obviously you cannot expect a win for the team without scoring.
