Please try to accept critics also.
No one here hates him, infact me also.
But if someone says a wise comment, accept it.
dont bark on others simply.

Can't change born haters and critics
by jithin george on Jun 03, 2011 06:21 PM

A Man who has given so much to the nation has so much hatter is really sad. Even in the recently concluded WC he has scored 482 runs at an avg of 63 with 100 strike rate. Take the last 24 months of test match cricket where India has flourished to No 1 spot in the world, he averages 80. Still some guys who are born haters and critics wants him to retire..I am sure, just like me there will be atleast a million Indians who would love to see him bat on and on. He is a delight to watch and the biggest ICON india has ever produced. Probably the best role model one could ask your daughter or son to follow.

highest no. of MOM only because he has also played highest no. of years and also highest no. of mathces...

besides all those MOM have mostly come at the cost of other more deserving players. he has stolen many MOMs because he is sachin tendulkar....

MOM for scoring not out 100 while chasing 200 runs is nothing great. we were going to win the match anyaway without his century or 70-80 runs. those who get MOM for scoring 183, 150, 175 while chasing totals like 300 are worthy MOMs...

suraj kumar i would like you to go through the score cards of the matches where he has won MOM and see whether he truly deserves those awards. mostly he has got those MOMs because the indian bowlers have restricted the opposition to a easy/modest score. and just because wickets got distributed among them equally and nobody got 5 wickets which would have made them MOM. and by courtesty of opening the innings and getting the first crack at a easy total he comes and makes 80-90-100 runs and gets MOM...the other times mostly he gets MOM is when he gets flat tracks and he can hit 150-160-200 runs where any other player would also scored well...

if such MOM awards please you and makes you think he is the greatest what can one do?

Time to move on sachin
by Varun on Jun 03, 2011 06:01 PM  | Hide replies

Time to either retire from ODI to bat down the order to give chance and of coz mentoring to yougsters. Stop worrying about records and fears of losing them to someone else. Think about the future of Indian cricket. If you have acquired the wisdom that is.

You reason is not at all valid to consider his retirement.Infact it was not a reason also. There could be some reason that is cheap enough to discuss.

All that means is that he is a great player. Does not mean he somehow gets the credit and right to keep going at the cost of Indian crickets future. This is the point you fan boys never get. As for WC, he needed the younger generation to lift his azz to WC glory. Sad but true.

Poor Murthy is getting damn frustrated now. Listen, there must be some way for you to stay away from the mental institution even if sachin stops playing. I would suggest you spend time finding it rather than losing it on rediff. hehe.
