He should be asked to go only if
by mangesh mhatre on Jun 03, 2011 05:32 PM  | Hide replies

his average during at least 2/3 seasons dips below any promising newcomer, with a consistent performance.
So many newcomers have come as a flash & disappeared. They could not even keep up their performance in Ranajis after some time. How sane it will be to depend on such players?

I am not satisfied..................
by ABHIRAJ RANAWAT on Jun 03, 2011 05:26 PM  | Hide replies

Yes he is one of the greatest cricket player produced and that is why occupies status of demi god in this country. He got tons of money, awards, name and fame and what not.But iska dil hai ke manange more. People have gone so crazy that they are now asking for him Bharat Ratna (this may be gimmick played by his marketing agents as well- rather more likely yes).
No doubt he is a great player but he is not instrumental to change in life of people of India. What difference will it make to my life or any others life if he does not play cricket. We still keep on giving him plots of land, money and what not. There are other equally players from other sports as well. Think of them also. No Bharat Ratna should be confirmed on him as he do not deserve it.We have still not given it to Tilak, Netaji Subhashchandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Azad. If at all it is to be given to any player there is a long list we can first consider, Maj Dhyanchand, Milkha Singh.
India does not have real heroes at present so we make Tendulkar, Bachhan, Rai, Khans and what not as our heroes. Said state of affairs. We neither have patriotism nor any shame left.

There are many un sung heroes who are never praised by media but they have silently contributed a lot to the nation. It is time to think of them.

Enough of Sachin.

Yes.. It makes difference in our lives. I will give you 1 example.. Go outside and ask any monther who has a small male child with her, that like whom she wants her child to be in future.? Give 10 options along with Sachin. I bet u will get more percentage for Sachin. He is Bharat Ratna not just bcoz he is a Great Cricketer, but also a Great Human Being to follow his ideologies. He never done Match Fixing, Sex Scandel, Killing of Animals or Pedestrians etc. which he can do easily by his Celebrity status. How many of our Celebrity are doing Social causes by not making their Publicity. He nurture more than 200 Orphange Children by his own money from last 12 years. How much more you want.? Still more than 50% of Imerging Sportpersons (from any Sport) want to be like him in Future.. Its easy to Criticize him but very hard to follow him. If u cant be like him, dont atleast criticize him.
For me, He is the Only God..

india has won the wc, he has got all records, so what more does he want? Because of him so many younger players like rohit sharma, pujara , raina are missing out on the test side,it is ridiculous, he is 38 and is saying he has not even thought of retirement. whata joke...who told u they cannot win test games? How many test matches have they played? Oh i forgot, the buddas ( oldies) in the team do not want to leave and because of them we hardly get 2 see these youngsters in the test team or should I say MAYBE WE WILL never get to see them, the only player who will retire on his own in the near future is Dravid, he is a man of integrity unlike this sachin ganguly sehwag laxman who will never retire and keep playing till 70 if given a chance....btw THESE players like , sachin, sehwag ganguly, laxman got their chances only because OLDER players had retired ON TIME , had they done the same thing as these guys are doing right now, then they would not get the chance to make such records
