Not SRT, notRaina, notYuvraj not even theMediaDarlingDhobi- only RD stands tall. check out his stats before talking- India hasLost only thrice when RD has scored centuries and won 16 times in 34 centuries. Most of those have come abroad under HostileConditions. And that doesn't even count the number of matches he has saved for India by keeping the opposition out for hours on end and drawing the match. anyway, he has nothing to prove to the world- he's got a century in every place includingLord's, which SRT can never lay claim to.

I am not an SRT lover nor I am a fan of Dravid. I wish SRT doesnt finish his 100th century here unless he helps India winning the series.

I am not SRT lover and neither I like Dravid's style of Wasting deliveries when that is not required. Dravid scored 120 odd runs in 250 balls while England's tailenders are scoring at strike rate of 80-90 on this flat wicket. Playing slow is not a remedy for test cricket, test cricket has evolved, now teams are scoring 400 runs or more in a day. On day 2 when Laxman was scoring Dravid was wasting deliveries, India lost the initiative. Later Dravid realized to increase the rate but failed.

stop spreading rumors like congressi diggadha singh... outside subcontinent dravid have scored 3 100's in wins and so did sachin... and if india lost despite sachin's 100's then it is faukt of others like dravid in the team who could not do well when sachin scored 100's... but then like bird-brained congressis and leftists all sachin haters keep barking like diggadha singh does at sangh parivaar for any thing and everything...
England deserves No. 1 spot. Since last two series India is playing like number 5-6 team. with captain fool and regional fanatic like Shrikanth at task downfall of India would be faster than expected.

only one or two decisions have gone wrong but that doesnt provide an excuse for mindless bowling and pathetic field placements. KP's strong side was not blocked, nor was third man area blocked for Bell, who is a good cutter.

I have a feeling that this No. 1 test team rating was fabricated by Sharad Pawar and MSD by keeping only home series since 2008.
India expect another big defeat at the hands of England in the second test. The strongest Indian team only in paper cannot cross even 300 runs in the West Indies and with England so far. Dhoni is irresponsible as a Captain to lead the team. Only backing Dhoni is having is world cup; but when he is going to take responsibility of showing some improvement in his batting ablility.

forget his batting but atleast he learns to put a field placement according to batsmen that would be enough for his as a captain.
Second innigs run chase is a test for Sachin to show to the cricket world whether he is a warrior or pacifist. Ans Champion/Looser.
Warriors and Champions will strive till the end by fighting out attackingly even the result turns out as loss. The idea is one should not be on defensive and play naturally. And if the result is positive during this approach, one should feel blessed,thankful etc. And if the result is negative, one should feel proud of palying like warrior and try to better next time

India would be chasing more than 400 runs with only one and half day in hand, practically its impossible to chase. I am worried that if India can take this match to fifth day or not?
If it does, then India should seriously bring Virat back in team by dropping Mukund and ask him to open. If he settles he is a big player he is a fighter.

Whats wrong in that? Mukund cant even hold ball in slip nor does he chase and dive to stop the ball on the field. Virat would do that far better. On the other hand he needs to be nurture to play at No.1 or One down.
He called back Bell. Would Eng captain had called any Indian player if he was in the same position ? Some years back Wasim Akram did not call back Sachin in Kolkata when it was clear in the replays that Shoaib Akhtar had obstructed Sachin when the stumps were broken. Why do our useless people want to be heroes at the cost of the nation ????

Actually in the WC final the hard work was done by Virat and Gautam. Dhoni promoted himself above Yuvi. Dhoni got all the credit for the win, where as Gautam and Virat were left high and dry.

Short pitch deliveries are problem for many including Rain and Sehwag and still they are in team. I dont think you get perfect batsmen initially, you have to nurture them by playing but attitude is important. virat has right attitude and his field in way better than Mukunds or Vijays.

T20 has ruined Indian cricket both on field and off the field. Now these players like Saha etc being considered on the basis of IPL, which is a rubbish form of cricket.
