I don't think that India applied themselves well in this match. They were done in by poor shot selection.
Gambhir tried his trademark walk down the pitch to Broad and got out. Mukund went after a ball wide outside off stump, and chopped the ball on to the stumps. Tendulkar's shot wasn't particularly good. Same with Laxman, Raina, Harbhajan and Praveen, who all played poor shots. For Laxman and Raina, who are regular batsmen, there is no excuse. Only Dhoni got a genuinely good ball.

I will ban cricket...that is better... So no one wins and no one loses.. If everything is about winning then we are not playing. Then it looks the spectators awaiting the death of the gladiator in a roman sports arena...
so what is new? dravid always plays the important innings and saves the team. on the other hand selfish playesr like sachin always fail when needed. just give sachin a flat, non swinging wicket and see how he scores a mundane century whch is not required at all! nothing new!

Ok Mate....No reason to venom on SRT...Dont forget Rahul was dropped...I am still happy for his ton at lords....SRT has many tons outta Flat wkts..so keep ur mouth sh ut..Just try to enjoy cricket if you will...

Rahul was not dropped at all form the test squad. He was injured only one time through out his carrier.

i prayed lord sidhdhivinayak for sachin 200 but he scored only 34 never mind he will hit 200 in second innings with rahul and vvs laxman god is always there with us just we have to help our own ego and sence of duty to do best because wasim jafar, yuvraj sing can play if sachin takes rest and they will definitely score more than 34 runs wasim jafar atleast is very very reliable like rahul dravid

It only shows your bias. That is the problem with us. We hero worship one player while run down other players forgetting that both of them are indians!
just don't understand why India rates tail enders so high..may be the top order is joke..Gambhir is highly rated pig of all..take out the best 3 and India ranks to #7 due to the best bowling attack in the world. Ishant looks clueless, he got WI wickets because WI batsman can;t even play 10 balls properly

rahul dravid is not kapil dev to hit 4 sixers to avoid fallow on the game of cricket is an art and enjoy the art even if our team looses or rain comes to dhoni's help as usual. this has happened in 2003 world cup round matches also india lost to mighty australia in round matches miserably by 200 plus runs people got furious and started burning afagies of saurabh sachin zaheer but finally atal bihari bajapaye had to interrupt indian mad mobs and telephoned sachin in sauth africa and pulled sachin's ears like his heavenly father sachin assured atal bihari that he will not throw his valuable wicket till last ball bowler and sachin won man of series medal in 2003 world cup but again sachin failed in final so also india failed to win final 2003 wc with saurabh wrong decision to bowl first just lik dhoni to bowl with lame zaheer? Enjoy the game as if we watch ashes nothing personal nothing emotional it is crazy game cricket njoy it

Who knows everyone else besides Dravid maybe on someones payroll...this guy keeps saving the team again and again while the rest inspire little confidence.
