YOU HAVE NO SENSE OF CRICKET SHOULD I INFORM YOU HOW MANY TIEMS INDIA WON AND INDIA SAVED MATCH WHEN SACHIN MADE 100. YOU PEOPLE PRAISE ONE PLAYER AND START ABUSING OTHER. IS THIS YOUR SPORT SENSE? NO WONDER THAT IS WHY INDIA IS WAY BEHIND IN SPORT. EVEN DRAVID WILL LAUGH IF HE WILL READ YOUR MESSAGE. HE ADMIRS SACHIN LIKE A GOD LIKE WE ALL DO. STOP WRITING ALL CRAPS ABOUT A GREAT PLAYER LIKE SACHIN.

Yes Iagree.People just criticise tendulkar when he fails.Yesterday also he was batting beautifully. It was a good out swinger that got him driving. His past performance is quickly forgotten. He has got an avarage of nearly 56 after somany tests.Pl leave him alone or drop him if he is not good.Take Yuvaraj who may not last 15 minutes against such top class bowling.

Hats Off Rahul Dravid R stands for Reliable Respect Ray of Hope!
by pravin sarode on Jul 24, 2011 07:37 AM

Rahul Dravid might be doing Surya Namaskara, like most yogasanas must be performed only on an empty stomach to stay fit unlike lazy sachin? Therefore there must be a gap of at least two hours after eating and before performing the namaskara. It is generally practiced in the morning before breakfast or in evening.[5]
Surya Namaskaras are performed on a mat, not on the floor.
In some traditions, 12 Surya Namaskaras are performed at one practice. If starting that practice for the first time, it is generally started with fewer (3 to 6) Namaskaras per day, and then gradually increased to 12 Namaskaras in a week's time.[6]
Shavasana is practiced at the end of practice for rest.
Shavasana is practiced to take rest after Surya namaskaraBreathing (pranayamas) is synchronized with asanas.
Mantras are pronounced at start of each Surya namaskara.
There are a total of 8 different postures in the sequence of 12 posture changes of Surya namaskara. Some asanas are repeated twice in the same cycle of a Surya Namaskara.
Practice of yoga postures (asanas) generally follows a surya namaskara practice.[7]
In a traditional Hindu context, Surya Namaskara is always performed facing in the direction of the rising (east) or setting (west) sun.
As per the scriptures one who performs the Surya Namaskaras daily does not get poor in a thousand births.[8]

dravid - the wall
by anand on Jul 24, 2011 07:37 AM  | Hide replies

I found out from internet that out of the 32 centuries scored by dravid in only 1 match India lost, 15 matches india won & 16 ended in a draw,
means he makes a telling contribution when ever he scores runs. good players make runs when every body else is making runs, great players perform when
ordinary players fail. Rahul is as good as sachin if not better under critical situations.

Out of Sachin's 51 centuries, 20 times India won, 20 times mateches were drawn and 11 times we lost. If India lost 11 times when Sachin scored a century does not mean sachin is incompetent... it means the rest of the team was incompetent. In ODIs, out of 48 hundreds, 33 have come in winning causes. That is more centuries in winning causes than the next highest scorer of centuries : 29 by Ponting.

they showed a wrong replay. Broad almost delivered that ball 5 inch close to the bat than usual.
sometimes stuart broad even jumps the second last step before he delivers the ball to
generate extra pace.

indian fast bowlers can take some tips on generating extra pace and accuracy to hit the stumps or take a nick.

The Second Test in the Indian cricket team's tour of Australia for the 2007–08 summer was a controversial Test cricket match played over five days at the Sydney Cricket Ground from 2 to 6 January 2008. Australia won the match by 122 runs with minutes to spare at the end of the fifth day.

The match attained notoriety owing to the number of umpiring mistakes made by international umpires Steve Bucknor and Mark Benson and accusations of poor sportsmanship against both teams. The match ended in a dramatic defeat of the Indian team in the final ten minutes of the five-day match, with some commentators suggesting that the umpiring mistakes had a major impact on the course of the match.[1] The result ensured that Australia retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, as well as taking Ricky Ponting's team to 16 consecutive Test wins, equalling the previous Test record, also held by Australia under Steve Waugh. The controversy was termed by parts of the media as Bollyline, a reference to the 1930s Test itself was tightly contested, setting up a fifth (final) day in which the match could have been won by either team, but was most likely to be drawn. The match featured centuries by batsmen on every day of the match. Three four-wicket hauls were achieved and Brett Lee achieved a five-wicket haul in the first innings. The match featured centuries by batsmen on every day of the match. Three four-wicket hauls were achieved and Brett Lee achieved a five-wicket haul in the first innings. Both Anil Kumble and Michael Clarke were, at individual points in the game, on a hat-trick. All rounder Andrew Symonds was at the centre of much of the action, achieving 162* and 61 with the bat and taking 3/51 in India's second innings. Symonds was awarded man of the match. Controversies abounded; as well as the multiple umpiring incidents that were placed in the spotlight by the narrowness of the victory, Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh was charged with racial abuse in an altercation with Andrew Symonds. Harbhajan was banned by the match referee Mike Procter for three test matches although the charges were downgraded on 2008-01-29 to the lesser charge of using abusive language and the ban was lifted. The Indian team had earlier protested and threatened to pull out of the tour.[5] The match produced bitterness on both sides and an announcement by the Indian team that they would abandon their tour, followed by dramatic intervention by the International Cricket Council (ICC).Australia fielded an unchanged XI, whereas India made one change: the injured Zaheer Khan was replaced by fellow paceman Ishant Sharma, a 19-year-old playing in his third international tes

Australia fielded an unchanged XI, whereas India made one change: the injured Zaheer Khan was replaced by fellow paceman Ishant Sharma, a 19-year-old playing in his third international test match.

The match was preceded by speculation as to how attractive the play would be. The First Test was played on a pitch that was slow and somewhat irregular in behaviour, and the commentators were optimistic that the Second Test would lead to more attractive batting, particularly from the Indians, who had amassed 7/705 and 2/211 in their previous outing in 2003–04. Tendulkar (148* in 1991-92, 241* in 2003-04) and V. V. S. Laxman (167 in 1999-2000, 178 in 2003-04) had both scored much-lauded Test centuries at the ground.
Australia 463 & 401 India 532 & 210 2 to 6 January 2008. Australia won the match by 122 runs with minutes to spare at the end of the fifth day.

the ball to which sachin got out, sometimes he would have left alone in other matches.sometimes he might have swept for a six..so, cricket is definitely a game of chance..its about mindset on the given day.if sachin gets out,it doesnt mean that he is not talented to play such a kind of a ball...hence ,be patient with our team..dont train your guns unnecessarily on them..if at all there are sachin banters here, just close your eyes, dream yourself being in the middle of lords pitch, with all the protective gears,a deafening sound of 40000 spectators, mammoth figures like broad and tremlett waiting to take your head off..you need noteven face a ball from them, the mere sight of this atmosphere itself is enough to wet your pants..imagine sachin and laxman who had been doing facing this for about 20 long years...

last four balls that sachin faced were almost similar to the ball he got out. Sachin's weak points are already exposed in which tempted to drive the good length ball pitched on off stump and swinging away is one of them. Now its matter of minutes to get him out. Same with viru also

How much ever great his stats are doesnt matter, he should have taken responsibility and guarded the tail enders. I have seen this with every other Indian batsmen. Even the great tendulkar at times acted selfishly, remaining not out to increase his average rather than taking most of the strike.
