All these white boys are jealous as hell over the Indian take over of the former and an exclusive white preserve like the ICC!

Go ahead Alec, knock yourself out!

All this is, is colonialism in reverse or otherwise known as "Karma is a Bee-itch"!

You have great players in each era.. this is online poll.. those who voted for test team majority from India. Obviously you will find these players from your team..

All stoopid readers should understand one thing. ICC did not select the team, it was selected by public through voting. Obviously the public is young crowd and majority are from India and australia. general voters don't realize the performances of past greats, they only get carried over by blistering shewag and boring loud mouth gavaskar. Kapil Dev was a hero for India, but was never better than Malcom Marshal. We have to take this team selection with a pinch of salt and right attitude. This is a team selected by present generation, we can respect that, but this does not necessarily mean they are correct.

What a joke???
by GARY on Jul 20, 2011 07:15 AM

No King Viv Richards / No Malcolm Marshall / No Sir Gary Spbers, the greatest cricketer of all times....the whole selection is a sham...a mockery of the past greats achievement....20 years from now, almost all of the current lot will not be there in another ALL TIME GREATEST CRICKET TEST TEAM....

dude there can be only 11 in a cricket team, make it 50 n include the likes of stewarts, bothams, goochs, gattings etc.Btw who do u think doesnt merit to be in the 11 announced, all 4 indians deserve their place, people talk bout kapil being there,i can see only gary sobers who can replace him but he's not a fast bowling allrounder.

I agree with your points. But the way Dravid plays, he should be compared to Sunny Gavaskar, and Sunny played against the toughest quicks of all time. If I had to pick out top 2 Indian batters of all time, Sachin and sunny have to be it. Even though Sachin didnt play much agaisnt exceptional fast bowlers I think he would have adjusted to it. He would have probably played like he is doing at age 36 very maturely, vs the way he played at age 24. The problem is today there are too many avergae bowlers so you get used to average things and then suddenly when you play a great bowler you look bad. Thats not a right way to evaluate a player.

Since Cricket is played with 11, the ICC can choose only 11. There are great players but when the number is only 11 how ICC can choose more. If chosen as per stewarts' selection, someone will say why "that' player is not selected. there is nothing in this world that everyone accepts or gets satisfied. Just read this list as a time pass as none of them are going to join and play cricket anymore. it is like chosing 7 wonders of the world. This world has only 7 wonders??? there are many but it is just done to satisfy few and feed the media with something to read. I am sure for many their family is the world and their kids, their wonders. so dont think too much about this news.
