Too many ifs
by ram kumar on Jul 11, 2011 02:27 PM

Too many ifs. India could have won the series 3-0

If India had scored fast
If the umpires had given the right decisions
If Sammy had not dropped Dravid
If Kumble had bowled
If Sachin was there
If Sehwag was there
If Chanderpaul had not scored so slow
If WI had played badly
If Dhoni got up on the right side of the bed

WI could have won the series 3-0

If India had played badly
If Dravid had not played his role to the T
If Laxman had not played his role to the T
If Ishanth had not bowled that way he did
If the umpires gave the wrong decisions always
If Gayle had played

I am sure you must not be pleased with the efforts of our this Indian Team to accept for a drawn even without making any serious attempt to win...

We missed Kumble

If Kumble had been there, we would have gone through their tail without any problem and we would have been rejoicing a 2-0 victory today.. Harbhajan is only BOL BACHCHAN..No actions only words!! He cant even get the fast bowler Edwards out!!

Pitch difficult to score runs
by Anil Kulkarni on Jul 11, 2011 02:07 PM  | Hide replies

What rot Mr Fletcher is talking? When B grade batsman of WI could score runs on this ptich, it does not suit the Indian coach to give lame excuses. Even the postures of Indian players were such that they were not interested in any result, forget about winning the match. So no excuses Mr. Fletcher, accept that we could not use the pitch like WI's

It was not the matter of scoring runs, it was the case of scoring the run fast with the rate 4-5 per over....
Neither team maintained the runrate of 3 either.

If india wants to be and remain No 1 test side, they have to play like no 1 side, the match should have been won by india

CHUCKERS , CHOKERS and JOKERS!
by Kabeer on Jul 11, 2011 01:50 PM  | Hide replies

It is utter non-sense!

If scoring runs are so difficult, how come the WI tail of the last 4 wickets on a 5th day ended up such big score?

It is time for sending Harbhajan Singh out of the team.

He might be celebrating his 400th scalp, but if he has any shame he should retire immediately.

If this so called world class spinner can not bowl out the the last 4 wickets of a B class team on a 5th day wicket, he should be good for nothing.

Indian pacers didnt show any guts, when Chanderpaul virtually standing at 90 degrees while facing them. No fast bowler worth his salt will tolerate this and consider this as an ultimate insult.

Indians are up for a drubbing in England.

WI score only 2.44 RPO joker. Scoring 5 -6 RPO joker like you dont know how hard in this pitch.

India, unlike Pakistan, won the test series, that too without Sachin, Sehwag, Gambhir and Zaheer.

DOWNFALL OF INDIAN CRICKET
by mahesh mahesh on Jul 11, 2011 01:38 PM  | Hide replies

This series has proved that with the exit of Sachin,Dravid,Shewag and Laxman, cricket in India will go down as is happened to West Indies,Australia etc.

See Harbhajan could not dent a B team and he acts he is much bigger than Kumble, who has won most of the matches for India.

As far as batting is concerned, least said the better. It is amusing to see the way Kohli,Mukund,Vijay ect, the new faces act as though they are better than Sachin,Dravid etc in batting.

Let us see how the greatest non performing captain Dhoni would deal later.

Anyways, being an indian,Let us wish all the best for Indian Cricket.

people forget that without Harbhajan, Kumble could not bowl the Windies out in 2006 first test and they were left at 9 wickets after more than 1 day of batting. So just saying Kumble would have done it is farce.
