Being no one team in the world, you team was suffering like anything in bouncy pitch. What you will do in England.

Time for Dhoniji to voluntarily retire and make way for Gauti to become captain, even Parthiv Patel will also be benefited with a blocker retiring

with tough away tours coming up (england and australia), if we fail miserably or not do well we may see the end of dhoni's captaincy
gambhir may take up the captaincy next year

Not happening dear. Now we have our full strength team for England and Aussies. My prediction we will win both the series.

That would be good to see Dhoniji out of captaincy, meanwhile Mr.Idly why not M Vijay as Vice captain

ashwin should replace the harbhajana aka dhoni-cham'cha for india to win more test matches and probably vice-captain to gambhir

get your head examined
how many tn's are supporting vijay or mukund. its srikanth who is selecting them (not his fault, in the past other regional leaders/selectors also did the same to their regions) but they (vijay/murali) have done reasonably well in the seniors' absence which other i'diots who got selected in the past could hardly do.
what is your fil'th about idly? don't bring in food into regionalism
souths have always come up in national team with true merits unlike northies... you did not understand my support to gambhir

hahaha Idly getting frustrated !

Surprised to see that M Vijay has done reasonably good !!!! Get your head examined in Singapore dude (go to same hospital as Rajani sir did haha)

Why are you taking previous selectors as benchmark ? Mumbai & Karnataka have won Ranaji and hence max players in Team India were from these two states.
How many times Idlys have won Ranaji in recent times?

I assume Idly is hygenic food and not filth haha

dhoni and fletcher
by PachaiKulanthaiVazhaipazha on Jul 11, 2011 11:48 AM

i think we will start seeing the downfall of hyped-up dhoni! we may soon see gambhir leading indian team... (gambhir gave us clean sweeps when he captained. that is the mark of a No.1 team)

i also want to see this old coach go out

india should have gone for win
by h h on Jul 11, 2011 11:48 AM  | Hide replies

hello all as a cricket lover and great admirer of team India i think we should have batted more sensibly and dhoni missed a trick he himself should have pronoted to no3 even though mukund was out on 1st delivery or he could have altered batting line up after openers dhoni/kohli/raina or vice versa because if we had 3 or 4 quick wickets we had rahul and vvs who were in good batting form would have seen through the day

Dhoni will promote himself only on batsman friendly pitches. He will not survive even one over on a fifth day pitch and hence he did nit promote himself.

For the same answer that Dravid gave after the 3rd test match in India's tour of England 2007; Dravid lost his captaincy. Let us see what happens now

they could have continue to play
by PachaiKulanthaiVazhaipazha on Jul 11, 2011 11:43 AM  | Hide replies

and see what was the target in last 5 overs
why did they stop playing?
something like 40 runs in last 5 overs to get with 4 or 5 wickets in hand, they could have definitely blasted the ball around
then what is after all the influence of odi and now t20? these people perform in a renowned premium t20 league!
if a team gives up with 84 runs from 15 overs, then people will lose interest in test matches! what is the necessity of test cricket then if the prime interest is to draw the game? is it a chess game?
