India:- Cricket, home.
by samjan maheer on Jul 06, 2011 11:56 AM

Mr. Holding,u 've no right to hate India. It is ur frustration n jealousy that have made u speak so. Where were u Mr. Holding when Aus.n England boards were imposing their decisions on other cricketing nations? India is the home of cricket.Indian board has shown all glory n luxury to many players around the world. BCCI has brought money in Cricket. Even today the biased umpires and match-refrees behave partially with the non-white players. Why can't u open ur mouth then? Or are u fixed this time to say so?

Cricket should not go the hockey way !
by INDRANEEL CHANDRA on Jul 06, 2011 11:54 AM

When India & Pakistan dominated world hockey, FIH, simply changed the rules in the name of marketability and now it's more like Ice hockey on grass ! BCCI should be respectful of others but at the same time protect it's interests.

Holding is victim of videshi hold on worldwide media and spying
by D S on Jul 06, 2011 11:54 AM

the videshi and ghora media is now in sports as well as regular political and business media.

On top of all this, Micheal holding ( a converted slave) follows angrezi religion and is been given money to give this cowdrey lecture to encourage his views grown by angrezi and ghoras media.

too much indirect politics by angrez and ghoras,
"I have no sympathy with India," said Holding during the MCC Spirit of Cricket Cowdrey Lecture

Angrez as usual before partition mobilized their brokers like jinnah, nehru and gandhi and many more to bring about partition.

the angrez opened videshi accounts for nehru-gandhi-jinnah-etc. still, sonia-rahul have access to those accounts.

when will India mobilize it's supports instead of just calling shots in the air.

too much dependence on gambhir and yuvi and new openers on trial can backfire. selectors should consider rohit and pragyan in running.

i dont know if selectors are planning well for next test and upcoming series for england.

pragyan ojha should not be left out for england for test matches.

not planning when zaheer and sresanth fades. new bunch of pacers and spinners and batsmen should be developed.

To all the rest of world -

India is the absolute owner of Cricket. You may resent it or like it .. will make no difference to the reality. The sooner you accept it, the better your life will be.

But BCCI does not own this sport. And that is the crucial difference. Even Indians do not like BCCI. They tolerate it just because India is currently the number one. (Ha! take that you jealous bunch ! No-1 ! -- I can never tire of smiling)

Rest of world please remember not to equate BCCI with India. say all you want about BCCI, just don't bad mouth the team or the nation India. You will evoke very strong reactions, if you are not careful.

AGREE WITH ALL MY REDIFF FRIENDS

Since India's rise in the game, there has been a lot of Jealousy. If you note these foreign commentators or ex players of other countries are only saying negative things about India. If you are doing well and and people are not appreciating then it means you are doing really really well.
Note in commentary especially these foreign commentators what they comment on Indian batsmen. When an India batsman hits a good shot they say its a poor ball or now days the bats are very good or its a flat pitch, but when its a foreign batsman then the commentator says 'Great shot'. And if an Indian Bowler Bounces out a batsman to a short delivery then they say something is wrong with the pitch or it was the batsman's fault, not how good that delivery was.
