AGREE WITH ALL MY REDIFF FRIENDS
by prajyoth pradeep on Jul 06, 2011 02:21 PM

Since India's rise in the game, there has been a lot of Jealousy. If you note these foreign commentators or ex players of other countries are only saying negative things about India. If you are doing well and and people are not appreciating then it means you are doing really really well.
Note in commentary especially these foreign commentators what they comment on Indian batsmen. When an India batsman hits a good shot they say its a poor ball or now days the bats are very good or its a flat pitch, but when its a foreign batsman then the commentator says 'Great shot'. And if an Indian Bowler Bounces out a batsman to a short delivery then they say something is wrong with the pitch or it was the batsman's fault, not how good that delivery was.

India Holding to much power
by Arun Sharma on Jul 06, 2011 02:21 PM

Mr. Holding is worried about India holding too much power. Did Mr. Holding or his West Indies seniors raise these issues when every world cup was monopoly of England. When Indian captain Bishan Sing Bedi was expelled from county .cricket for reporting use of Vaseline by English bowler John Lever. I think he is showing frustration because of poor state of cricket administration in West Indies. He should worry that much more.

Holding is an anti indian from the day West Indies lost to India in the 1983 world cup. At that time they have taken India lighly and the loss in the 1983 World Cup final to India is biggest shock for West Indies Cricket and after that they could not even reach finals. As HOLDING as one of the member of that 1983 World Cup team and his rest of team mates. They never expected that India will rise as superpower in Cricket both in terms of money and you can say Muscle.
Australians are other people who are very much jealous about rise in Indian Cricket.

Mr. Holding you first set right your Own Cricket Board and after Gayle and Chanderpaul episode everybody had a good idea about West Indies Cricket board. Please set your office right before showing ur dirty fingers on other.
WE ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS AND REMAIN WORLD CHAMPIONS.

This is arrogant attitude Sai Krishna. Being an Indian, I am also much worried about the state of affairs here at BCCI. They have too much money because the indian fans are fanatics. They want India to wil by hook or by crook. I dont see anything wrong in what sangakkara and Holding said. Wake up man.

You are right they have money but It is absolutely true that Australians and West Indies very much jealous about our achievements.
You should recall Holding in particular very much anti-Indian. No other ex-west Indian players have anything to say about India.

With Great power Comes Greater Responsibility
by Navneet on Jul 06, 2011 12:24 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI seems to be missing the cues. its just following the path of Imperial England, & i feel they r worse than the one-time-mighty British.

Upto a certain point we did felt proud in the powers of our governing body but now the feeling is of shame after seeing the arm-twisting ways of BCCI

Its not a coincidence that so many former cricketers & fans are denouncing BCCI, it has become like the australian team of the last decade & we all know whats the result of the arrogance...

even though one should not say things like that. but the reactions of the rest of the world forces us to be jingoistic.

let us take care of the corruption ... just one more election will remedy it mostly - then we will show to these jokers, how to rule the world.
