Accept the fact
by Vimlesh Mittal on Jul 07, 2011 01:47 AM

Earlier cricket rules were governed by strong teams like West Indies, England and Australia. Now these people are finding hard to digest the fact that their cricket team are weak so they are creating all this fuss. It was time when these teams bullied Indian Team whenever there was series held in their country, right from umpires to players dominated sub continent teams like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and India. Now when Indian cricket is at the top they are just jealous. Guys be sportive.

What's wrong?

BCCI wielding too much power. Of late this is the whine that we hear every other day. What's wrong. BCCI wields too much power not because India dominates world cricket (Comparison to Brazil and FIFA is totally wrong) but due to India - BCCI financing world cricket and ICC. Don't like it, just too bad.

"BCCI financing world cricket and ICC".
What if the other boards jointly take a decision not to play any matches against India, no matter how unlikely it shall be??
How would the BCCI make those huge profits??

@Durga Prasad: Typical Indian megalomaniac response. Just think before you talk dude...there are more attractive and revenue generating match-ups in cricket like Aus-SA, NZ-AUS, SA-ENG, ENG-PAK and of course AUS-ENG (Ashes).

Be proud of what BCCI is doing. BCCI earns 8000 crores in 4 years. That is half the money. The other half is split to all other boards when India visit them.Thats another 8000. Why do we want our money to goto other boards. If IPL becomes big, small useless ODI series will have no sponsors. With IPL, Indian money stays in India. Regarding BCCI wielding power, ask the other boards to stop being greedy. Stop licking BCCI. Live with whatever money u had earlier in cricket. They are after Indian riches. So begging India to play with them. Ofcoure Bcci will have horns then. What they did? They made an unofficial window for IPL. hhhahaha

Your 100% correct. That why after Srilanka started SLPL, Indians put only 12 test matches against them in next 9 years in FTP. But we played 14 test matches with SL in last 3 years. Thats means SL get very less matches with Indian in next 9 yrs, So less money. This indicates how BCCI will react if you go against a strong BCCI.

Empty vessels making more noise

Who generates money Mr. Holding. By watching WI & SL match you cant even able to pay for DRS. Countries like WI,SL,PAK should know that. Eng,Aus,SA knows these facts so only they all are Mute. but empty vessels making more noise here.

Let west indies dictate terms and generate revenue as well for the next 4 years. One caveat - All revenues generated by Indian sponsors, Indian TV revenues will go to Indian Board and players.
Lets see how many countries show up for the next worldcup.

Why should one dominate?
Lets have equal chances.
If BCCI has money, what will happen?
We as Indians should not support this adamant and arrogant BCCI.

Speech of Holding & Sangakkara
by chandrashekar V on Jul 06, 2011 02:29 PM  | Hide replies

We should take Holding's words in the right spirit and Sangakkara's speech at Lords was great and it might happen at BCCI. The future of Indian cricket might go the SriLANKAN Board way, if we do not take the right path and weed out corrupt guys from the Board.

BCCI with its financial muscle power should use its Power responsibly. As in the movie SPIDERMAN "GREAT POWER COMES WITH GREAT RESPONSIBILITY."
WE should be responsible with the power and work towards the betterment of the game.

Please dont every compare BCCI with SLC. Do you know SLC had hold election last on 2001. They have only interim committee with average age of 8 months. This show how less knowledge you have in cricket. By posting some copy comments from spider man doesnt meant ur correct
