It all depends on what happens in the Quarterfinals. Any team has a chance here.Lets hope that luck favors India.

Didnt....

Didnt everyone and their uncle say pretty much the same things (best well balanced team) before the 2007 WC....Then you saw waht happened...

Well balanced on paper doesnt count for much....well balanced on the field is what we want..

All we can talk now is about what is on paper.

If we could predict team X will perform like this or player Y will score these many runs. Match results would be decided in meeting rooms not on play grounds. That is the difference between a movie and sport.

Totally agree...Thats why I am saying we cant predict that this team can win the WC...we have to wait and watch on teh field.

It confirmed that India will win the WC2011.
All other teams have been well paid now to ensure this.

Lanka is the Favorite

Its so funny that everyone is talking about the batting line up..Where are the bowlers..? In subcontinent, bowlers win the natches not batsmen...everyone can score, so bowling makes the difference...My bet is England / Sri lanka...Lanka has 2 match winners...Murali and Malinga

Its true that in Semi-final, Srilankan Tigers are going to eat us,as it happened in the Eden-Garden in one of the WCUPs.

Indian middle order...
by NashikMarathi on Jan 31, 2011 09:55 PM  | Hide replies

The middle order consisting of

Gambhir/Sachin (one will open with sehwag)
Raina
Yuvraj
Yusuf Pathan

hardly inspires confidence. It is a fragile batting lineup once you get past the first 3.

Yuvraj has not still proved himself, since T20 championship. That was the beggining for his end.... since he is friend of Dhoni,he is there.I prefer Saub Diwary, Mumbai Indians, instead of Yuvraj.

by soco on Jan 31, 2011 07:32 PM

he goes to media and blame others on losing and ride on others performance on winning, on the other hand see sehwag when he has over the cap he never blamed the bowlers even when they performed under par.... this is where the lies the diff
