Dhoni cannot be lucky everytime. I think the last one day India won because of Harbhajan not because of Pathan. Pathan after playing well threw away his wicket like Raina.He was playing as if he is playing in Twenty20.So many catches were dropped.He was beaten number of times. But was still taking chances.Dhoni says he plays his natural game.was India chasing 300 plus that raina and pathan threw their wickets. At that time Wickets were the key not runs. Dhoni cannot be lucky all the time. If he encourges Pathan to play his natural game like Twenty 20 then India does not have a good chance in world cup.One has to play according to the situation not according to his natural game. Pathan must be regualrly made a member of playing eleven in World Cup Squad.He has shown his worthyness quitely convingcingly on a numberof occasions and it is time evryone recognises it. Obang Tayeng, Arunachal Pradesh, India.

I feel both the teams have worldclass batting team, even in the absence of batting maestros such as Sachin/Sehwag/Kallis. Its not the batting failure we saw in SA pitches rather, the bowler friendly pitches with unexpected bounce made the scoreboard's look like this. We can see the score will hardly touch 200's if other team like newzealand or westindies play at same pitches.
Its really embarassing to see a big and powerful country like India organizing WC along with three other countries (now it is two as Pak is dismissed by ICC). This is pathetic. Will ever Brasil organize football wc along with chili and argentina? never. will Germany do football wc with Italy? never. Multiple countries come together only when none of them have strong reasons nor infrastructure alone, which is not the case with India in cricket! I really dont understand this.

Do India deserve to be Host for WC? Think of the billions of Rupees that will be drained by the politicians and burocrats involved and the shoddy work to top it. India looks poor on the world stage.

Like this, India gets the WC once in every 4 times. Otherwise individually, it will get once in 9 or 10 times..

i personally feel this move is to promote as well as getting some revenue to our neighboring cricket playing countries(considering Asian countries as whole). We can't even think or compare the income of srilankan cricket board in comparison with ours. As Priyatosh said they don't have the capital to invest on this great venue. We help in promoting the game rather than seeking help from our neighboring countries.
Why do u think the chief selector is rotated bewteen North,South,East,west and Central zones? Everyone knows that none can be impartial.So they rotate so that everyone get a chance.Or may be he is not intentionally impartial, may be just happens to see follow TN domestic cricket more. Remember srikanth retained Vijay even for CSK.So he really thinks vijay is worth. In ideal world, vijay should have been looked at for more matches before getting him into International level or just be confined to Reserve test opener. Ashwin deserves the chance and I wish srikanth brings on Mukund before his term gets over. Rahane and mukund are two players I want to see in future.

Same way even the ICC president post is rotated between all boards. Remember when Dalmiya was the president he simply gave test status to Bangladesh so that Asian lobby will have 4 out of 10 votes. It happens everywhere.
SAfricans cricketers are all sold. The second and third match must have been fixed by sa side. the way they lost the second game is just unexplainable. Also in the 3rd one the type of catches they left was just incredible.
I think PAK, SA and SRILANKA shoiuld be banned from international cricket for ever.
