WHY MEDIA AND POLITICAL PARTIES GIVING SO MUCH IMPORTANCE TO GANGULY. EVERY PLAYER HAS TO RETIRE FROM SPORT HE IS PLAYING. HAVE KAPIL DEV, KUMBLE, SRINATH CONTINUED TO PLAY INSPITE OF THEIR INABILITY TO COPE WITH THE PRESSURE.
EVERY PLAYER SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO RETIRE IN A DIGNIFIED WAY.
He is victim of dirty politics he only did all the time with all the other team players. He is the chief architect of the dirty filthy politics invented by the kinds of gavaskar played religiosly by the kinds of ravi shastri and perfected by the kinds of Gulguly. now when he is at the receiving end, the bengali brahmins have started shouting from the roof top. The hunter has been hunted finally.
If SRK dint take him so what the wrong , we have many people in india give chance them think like that , who this ganguly nad whta he know nothing shame on this issue. If srk dint take ok why dint take others.

It is KKR which made Ganguly the ICON in the last Auction. This time, the auction is based on IPL Performances and not on the basis of reputation. This is the very basic reason on why great players like Laxman also received rough treatment.

icon player is decided by IPL commitee which is under BCCI not by KKR.regarding ganguly he was made to suffer due to a very bad team and POOR quality of players selected by team management.and top of that regaular intervention by mr.khan in cricketing affairs (that includes his wish list whom 2 play and whom not to play)led to disaster.

saurav was one of the top 4 run getters in the last ipl... mind u and other three were sachin, kallis, raina i guess.
ganguly deserve credit for turning the team around. but the last part of his career, he used politics to keep himself as the captain when his form was horrible. then we lost the world cup because he did not up the scoring rate against bangla.
ganguly is to blame for all the bad blood - which he himself created. no wonder people dumped him because of his potential to create good as well as bad.

If you know whan Ganguli become captain indian cricet team was in bad shape,Sachin rejected to retain as captain, he shaped the team properly,give chance to new player and put indian team where we can expecting to win the world- cup.Which ever big plyer now in a team was developed in his captaincy including Dhoni.It is bad luck that now he is not in a team & ignored KKR Pl.remember last tour of south africa where Ganguli was specialy called to ply and....

Why would a money making venture eliminate anyone? Dada must have been playing 'undue dadgiri' in IPL games as well, the problem he always had even when he was captaining India which led him to his downfall.
