KKR did inform by not rataining.who the hell told him to be included in auctions.Look at Kumble.the minute he was not retained by RBC he withdrew from the auctions. that is dignity for you.at least Dravid got taken by RR but ganguli's reputauion for politics came in the way of even other teams touching him with a barge pole.yes he was a good cricketer in his times. the operative word here is "was"

No bid for Ganguly, means other teams too do not want him, nor just KKR, as he is not value for money!

dada .what a shock not in kkr but none the less its also not the fault of srk becos he failed in previous 2 sessions.
some people think always dirty ,burn public property and loot the bussiness and rape corrupction , shame on this issue, if they dint take ganguly so live it there have many people in the world better then ganguly .

it is one more plan of khan to promote his other business. Actually he didn't want to build good team for IPL, but he want to make Controversy out of all these things which will help him in his film line.
Its all sentiment that is flowing for Saurav Ganguly's non selection in IPL. Just look at him, he has retired from all forms of cricket, and perhaps has not faced any international cricket for the last 2 years, he is not even playing domestic cricket. So, who will want to put money on him? Whats the guarantee that he will perform. If people can reject legends like Brian Lara in IPL this year, then why not Ganguly. We all know his abilities as a batsman and a leader, we respect him for that. But, ability and performance are two different things. He is not at all in shape. He should have atleast played regular domestic cricket, also could have thought of playing international tournaments in England or South Africa in their domestic teams to show that he is still available. Nothing hapenned, and top of that, he even increased his base price. So, in a way, Ganguly has made himself a laughing stock, he is himself responsible for this insult to him. I see it absolutely correct in not picking up Ganguly. If I am a Franchisee owener, I will be looking to maximisig my earnings and returns, IPL is all about business more than cricket, every one knows. Given that, I will invest money on those players who are still playing, performing at the international level. So, lets go ahead of the sentiments, life is hard reality. I think it was pre-decided no one will bid for Ganguly, he should have sensed it, shouldnt have offered himself, just like Kumble. Let him act like a Mentor for KKR

Well sentiment is what drives every sport/sport fans. Why do you support a team? Be it a cricket team or a racing team. we support a team or a player beause we try to relate to them. So please dont tell me sentiment has no place in sports. In fact that is the most imp thing......Now KKR is promoting a sentiment/idea that KKR is a Kolkata team. Kolkata fans need some element in the team to relate/connect themselves with. SRK is from Bombay,The new KKR captain is from Delhi and the KKR management does not care about Kolkata.... KKR is trying to fool people of Calcutta by saying that KKR is a local team. Calcutta is not able to digest that. By the way I am a Bengali and I love India. Dada was the one who coined the term "Team India". I dont care about what happens to IPL and IPL bosses. IPL bosses are here to make money. What I and people like me wont allow is the insult meted out to Sourav and people of India by IPL bosses.

u r right SRK is worst he think he can play with out DADA definitely he will pay for it.All kolkata peoples should boycott this bloody IPL. This season KKR will not win any matches.Give importance to viewers also.Ganguly is victim of bloody politics
for true to ganguly he desrve the place in the ipl team. if u r true bengali don't watch any ipl match in calcutta. give solid jawab to srk. don't buy any ticket. only calcutta and begali can do it for ganguly.
