Dada, you are one of those men who made India proud. Thanks for doing us proud. Dada, you coined the term "Team India". IPL is fragmenting India. IPL bosses dont care about India. They only care about making money . IPL bosses have insulted India by insulting the most successful captain of the Indian team.
Cricket is not like running the Trams on streets of Kolkatta. The Trams come off their rails and cause a traffic havoc.
Same with a person like Ganguly - he is the guy who lead India out of its shell, no doubt about it. But lets leave it Private bidders & sponsors to decide whether to pick him or not. Its not a Government owned entity for Communist Party of India to decide if Ganguly should be on team or not.
Personally I like his character and never give attitude but if KKR owner doesn't see that, we cannot force. Thats IPL..its not CPM party to run with Trams and Jyothi Basu's until they age and cause nightmares.

T20 is a very challenging format..corporates pick players on d basis of utility n value addition they offer to d team..ganguly does nt add any value to any team except his leadership skills..his battin strike rate is run a ball types, cant play on the leg side n short balls, terrible fielder.. he was d highest scorer for kkr in the last edition..i.e. 493 runs but the imp question hw many of those runs has been matchwinning? ans. none..nonetheless he is a decent player n could hve been picked up by any franchise had he nt raisd his base price from 200000 to 400000..thats is the terrible mistake he made..kumble was smart enuf to realise this n pulled himself out wid dignity! ganguly thinks no end of himself n thats y he has made an ass of himself! he over estimated his value n as a result payin heavily for it..what matters is d present..past achievements n stature of a person plays no role in ipl! moreover teams are buildin teams for 3 years..ganguly is gettin older n his fitness is nt great...so it was quite expected..

Rahul, In the last IPL season some of the best catches taken were by Dada. His fielding was superb last season.KKR did not do well because of other players. The matches KKR won last year were because of Dada(batting captaincy).Other players in the team let KKR down. Sourav played better than Rahul dravid. 493 is not just a number. It is a massive figure . Dada had to hit many fours and sixes to get to that figure. Plz dont sound as if scoring that many runs was child's play.Sourav had to bat cautiously because he did not have a single dependable batsman last year. Sourav's team let him down big time. (last time it was the team, this time it was the KKR management)

even if i agree 2 wtever u r sayin..stil it was only in d last ipl dt he performed..wt abt d 2 ipl's before dat...if u r a team selector n ur sensible enuf 2 pick ur best team for t20 den u wud never pick him...n lets nt talk abt his fielding here cos if he was d one who tuk d best of catches den d world has seen him 100 times missing sum easy fieldins..
