grt news if this true ,he deserves a place in wc ,2007 wc great michael holding has said india doing a big mistake by dropping laxman from wc squad ,see what happend we are home 1 week ,so please dont let this happen again .
If South Africa can make wickets to suit their bowlers, then why can't India make wickets to suite spinners???? Why do others claim that the sub-continent wickets are square turners, but wickets with bounce and pace is called lively wickets.... this is crap... India should make wickets, which suit them most and not the visiting country

Well said. But the local association would not prepare such wickets simply because the match would end in 4 days which means they would lose revenue. Afterall all associations want to make money and to hell with indianwinning!!!
Durban is no good for a day n night game of cricket as it strongly favours side bowling scond as the ball moves prejudicially with extra bounce. The officials are were aware of this but inspite of that they stage matches as it boost Indian viewership match starting after 6pm which results high increase in advertising revenues due to TRPs and visibility.

Drop Dhoni first and take robin uthappa for that spot.he is hardhitting batsman and a good wicket keeper,if murali vijay has given this much of oppurtunities why they are not giving to robin uthappa.pathan should come for the place of rohit sharma.and pujara to open the innigs with sachin.its better to take vvs in the place for yuvaraj then india can score some runs otherwise srikanth will make 11 sons and send to indian cricket but he will not select the inform batsman such a stupid selector

Cannot agree more. My World Cup 11: 1. Sehwag 2. Tendulkar 3. Gambhir (Captain) 4. Laxman (Delivers when back to the wall, who cares if he fails to score whenthe top order clicks. Deserves a chance to represent in WC for all his very very special performances.) 5. Yuvraj (Rotate Yuvi, Kohli, Pujara until one earns a permamnent spot by performance, like Gauti) 6. Kohli/Pujara 7. Uthappa (Wicket Keeper) 8. Yusuf Pathan 9. Irfan Pathan 10. Nehra/Sreesanth/Sharma/Munaf (... flavor for the day) 11. Zaheer
12. Harbhajan
Each of the first 9 above is capable of an explosive counter attack. Dhoni can only run singels like a rabbit, when the game is on the line.

i agree with you,bring v.v.s .laxman back in the squad and we need him for WC ,selectors shuld thing very serioiusly to bring him back.
Dhoni nothing but luck with him always. Also he is not contributing with the bat in his recent innings. In Test matches he failed to score some good runs on the board.
its really wasting a cricketer like raina down the order.. atleast promote him so that he can play in powerplays.. when we dont have player like gambir. raina should play a little higher..

and Yuvi should bat only after 40th over.. even at no. 9 no problem. Pathan should include in place of Harbhajan...!
