Christian is better than DADA & Sachin. T20 doesn't need names it just needs young and talent.

Indian Money Feeding Oz pride
by Rough Tough on Jan 10, 2011 05:56 PM  | Hide replies

This IPL auction was blatant example of how our money is being used to feed Oz pride.... this is nepotism at its best ....

our heroes don't fit into the teams' scheme of things (don't know what they meant by that').... but hitherto unknown uncapped Oz cricketers earn in millions...

most team with Aussie support staff are taking Indians for a ride and making us pay hefty sum for Christian for his proximity with Lehman (or 'Boof'as per his own submission). Mitchell Marsh earned more than he can even dream of, courtesy his father G. Marsh, the coach for Pune Warriors.....

And how we Indians keep fighting over whether likes of Ganguly, Dravid, laxman deserve a place in modern cricket.

Wake up guys leave aside ur provincial differences and make the cricket bosses accountable for the injustice meted out to our cricketing heroes....

just imagine how the teams will be throwing peanuts to Indian uncapped players when their counterpart from Oz will earn millions.....

but make no mistake we will be spending our hard earned money, flock the stadiums and shout for the teams.... whereas such blatant injustice will be meted out to our cricketing heroes....

DD and RCB have made their biggest blunder by retaining only 1 player. Now after the auction their batting line-up looks formidable and timid. It's disappointing for the DD to lose Gambhir and Warner. Huge credit goes for CSK for retaining 4 3=7 players.

COMMENTS ARE WELCOME BUT NO OFFENSE PLEASE!

Exactly...CSK have been the unsung heroes of all IPL's. All mediawala sonymax, bullshit ndtv, times, headlines hype preeti,SRK,mallaya, ambani team. What have they won ?

Chennai is the only team which will get proper home crowd support

Who will Delhi fans support when Gambhir plays for KKR.

What will RCB fans do when Robin Uthappa hits Zaheer Khan out of the park

What if Yuvraj hits 6 sixes in an over of Preeti Chawla sorry Piyush Chawla

Sourav Ganguly

Mr. Khan,

Thanks for not keeping Sourav in the team. Now we can really concentrate on other things rather than IPL4.

Don't loose tears for Sourav
by ABHIJIT ROY on Jan 10, 2011 05:30 PM  | Hide replies

Sourav ultimately won. Against Australia. While th Aussies were No 1, they found hard to beat India under Sourav. He needled them and fought with courage against the No 1.
Australians never liked him, as he was their nemesis. Thats the reason Australian coaches of IPL blackmailed the owners not to bid for Sourav.
Why are we obsessed with Australian coaches? They are useless. Look at the Australian team now; 3 innings defeat in 5 matches!. They were No 1 because of 4 great players-Shane Warne, Glen Mcgrath, Mathew Hayden And Adam Gilchrist.
None of the successful teams in WORLD CRICKET have Australian coach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But IPL owners are obsessed with Australians. RIDICULOUS ISN'T IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CSK Have got a Good team Once Again
by Senthil on Jan 10, 2011 05:02 PM  | Hide replies

I hope they Will Sign R Sathish and G Vignesh also along with A Mukund, S Jagati, Anirutha, C Ganapathy and A Karthik.

So the XI and Reserves like this

1. M Vijay
2. M Hussey (O)/ G Vignesh (If Hussey NA then Vignesh)
3. S Raina
4. S Badrinath
5. MS Dhoni
6. A Morkel (O)
7. G Vignesh / B Bravo or S Styris (O)(If Hussey Plays then Vignesh Here)
8. R Sathish/A Srikant
9. R Ashwin
10.S Randiv(O)/B Bravo or S Styris (O)
11.D Bollinger / Hilfenuhas (O)

Too many options already. Then you have A Mukund, S Jagati, C Ganapathy and A Karthik for more reserves.
