no shame, Dravid was not considered by RCB, Laxman not considered by DC, Yuvraj not considered by KXI
if you want to really enjoy t 20 , you need batsman like ross taylor, brenden, peterson, gayle, jayawardene, jesse ryder, india tendulkar, sewag, yuvaraj others are followers,
Some obsene amount of money is being showered upon players who don't even deserve 1/10th of it. Robin Uthappa 21 lac USD and Irfan Pathan 19 lac USD is simply not justified.. KKR has spent USD45 lacs in 2 players alone, bet this time SRK's team will created a new record, not win a single game in this year's IPL edition.. India has the highest number of people living below the poverty line, the largest number of corrupt politicians each of whom are richer than Bill Gates thanks to CWG and the richest sportstars in a sports that played only by a handfull of nations. With soo much of money floating around, our FM is still worried about the current account deficit of our country, just ask him to get 10% of the money kept away by our dear politicians in swizz banks back into the current account and the surplus will boost our economy past China's for the next 10 years without a sweat..

I think if the FM gets 100% of the money kept away by our dear politicians in Swiss banks back into the current account, the surplus will boost our economy past China forever without sweat.
1.Ishant 2.Duminy 3. Gony these players were underperforming in 3 editions of IPL.It's a gamble for DC. C.Lynn,Christian -players whose caliber is not known

Ishant, Duminy & Gony are much much better players than Harmeet Singh, Shoaib Maqsusi, Jaskaran Singh etc. alteast on paper
The exorbitant amount paid by the franchisees only reflect their poor knowledge of the players capabilities. R.Jadeja at 900k USD? How do you explain it? He can't even justify to be a C grade player in the list of players under contract by BCCI. Possibly the IPL's thinking is that with such a high money being paid, they will never think about representing India at any point of time in the near future. And that is good for India, as most of these lot do not deserve a place in the Indian Team. Time for BCCI to pick some promising players and concentrate on their grooming and develop a good bench strength.
Does anybody have any idea why Laxmi Ratan Shukla was not auctioned. He is acapped player - for ur information having played 1 ODI for India some time way back.
