Everyone who has an issue with Ganguly not being selected should pool in money and hand it over to the managers of KKR to get Ganguly on board. This is nonsense. If I am paying to buy a commodity I have the complete right to choose what I want to buy regardless of whether it works in my favour or not. I guess a similar rules applies to the franchises as well.

this is no commodity for personal use. they want to earn huge money by selling the cricketing art of the players to us. this is a contract and cricket is an art which attracts huge fan following.... ALL THESE ARE OUR MONEY Actually WE PAY by going to the stadiums or by seeing the ads on TV channel and buying things in market.
As many ou had posted the stats of how ganguly performed in last IPL, thr is nothin for me to say.. He had a decent IPL season last year compared to the players with higher price tags of this auction.. But what hurts me more is the way he was treated(Its nothin to do with regionalism and im not from bengal).. Comeon guys..he gave the look which Indian team wears today.. His attitude turned the games around.. he got together a bunch of individual talents and christened Team India.. He is good caption and a stylish oneday players.. Take a look at his one day records.he scored runs faster than Sachin..He let his game fade away to build team india by shouldering all the criticism. He brought the young lot of today to the team..He should not be humiliated like this.. U guys u have posted against Ganguly jus give thought about this and put urself in his shoes..

hey... i thought kapil dev instilled the first ounce of confidence in the Indian team. I wish someone would take him in their team. Cricketers need to know their form and abilities and step aside when it is right. Look at Matthew Hayden who stepped aside gracefully rather than be humiliated at the auction. And look at Ganguly who raised his base price to 400,000. That was asking for humiliation.

Kapil Dev instilled confidence in the Indian team? When? By his charismatic leadership? Doesn't jog my memory.
