A person representing the honors of his country shouldn't act like this. It sets a bad impression of the team which already has a reputation of bad boys. If a skipper shows this type of decent he should be heavily fined and punish so no other members of his or other team will follow his footsteps.

Well see he did apologize after he realized that he was outside Australia and the traditions they have over there for 30 wins in a row and whatever would not look right. He just did what he knew by instinct and i don't see anything wrong as he has apologized. Pseudo has explained it so clearly. :-)

Home Advantage
by MeetFireWithFire on Feb 23, 2011 10:08 AM

Ponting with his blocked mind has already broken a TV set in the dressing room claiming it is not working. We all know the actual reasons of his act. Thinks he is immune to his acts. He needs to show his immunity to the STATE_OF_THE_ART Indian facilities. I would not be surprised if any of the overseas players down with flu (showing their immunity). Thats home advantage for you!

Just charge him 3 times the retail price, and only accept cash payment only.
After a while he will get the message.

Well said...

But given that he tends to break one TV every 12-15 years or so, I think it will take a long time for the message to sink in... :)

Let him break whatever he wants in Australia
by Raju Nadig on Feb 23, 2011 07:47 AM  | Hide replies

Since Aussies know what kind of brat Ponting is , they should always carry a third party insurance on his behaviour to ccover the damages he causes outside Australia. Secondly , he should be severely told that he can go and break anything in Australia , but he does not touch a single thing in any other country. These guys thing that they are God's gift mankind. what crap.
