For the first time...............................................

Bedi has spoken something sensible. Normally just raves & rants and makes irrelevant observations.

retire or not
by mohammed ali on Feb 09, 2011 04:34 PM

If so much money was not involved many of the present cricketers would have retired. It is the love of money that stops them. Our cricketers should learn from the Aussies. There are many cricketers who are waiting on the benches.

Saurav Ganguly should call it a day now...
by Ritu Singh on Feb 09, 2011 04:18 PM

Saurav Ganguly has led India admirably and it is not wrong to say that the killer instinct in the India team owes its birth to the outspoken and fearless ex-Captain Ganguly.

However, he should know better that with age, his performance has mellowed down, despite experience... In a cricketing forum, where youngsters rule the roost, it was plain enough to see that Team India / IPL KKR needed more than just a ex-legend to chalk up wins...

Bedi, for once, has put the words rightly in place.. Ganguly should opt out rather than being humiliated and shown the door...

But guess, sometimes, somethings take longer to be deciphered and acted on...

All the best Dada for the future...

What's it to you Bedi?!
by Sanjay on Feb 09, 2011 04:09 PM  | Hide replies

Why doesn't it get left to Dada... give the man some respect he did well for India...

Same could be said of a few other players who are still in the current side...

Saurav Ganguli
by Palmas Palmas on Feb 09, 2011 02:56 PM

Compared to Saurav, Kumble acted very intelligently and made himself unavailable for IPL auction and avoided being similarly humiliated.

DADA
by Vikas Banga on Feb 09, 2011 02:39 PM

When we say Dada did that, sachin did that, kapil did that, its absolutely wrong.
It is the duty of cricketers to move the game forward.
After all they are paid for it.
Millions of home rests on them
