There should not be any reason for ganguli to drag in the name of one of the most respected cricketers of all time-Dravid in to his personal animosity with Greg chappell.What is ganguli trying to prove? He is unnecessarily raking up a dead issue. He should not forget that his highhandedness led to losses in atleast 15 finals of cricket tounaments and triangular series.He cannot take everything and everyone to bend down to his wishes.

Dada still the best Indian test captain India had, not Dravid. If he had not supported Dravid, harbahan, Zaher, yubraj India would not get its golden era of cricket which now being enjoyed by you.
Ganguli is very self centered and attention seeker average player... He was burdon on a team thats why Chappel raised questions about his role. No doubt chappel is also very ego-estic persnoality but it was well known still ganguli recommended his name for coach position... why? And by the way a captain who feared to green pitch and run away from the match has no right to talk about guts of Dravid who lead the same match!

By bringing in Dravid into his personal animosity with Chappell ,Ganguly has lost respect of most of the cricket fans.Off late Ganguly is feeling restless and shooting his mouth without any provocation.Other than writing his autobiography,Chappell has not reacted to Ganguly's personal jibes,Where is the provocation..? I have a doubt,who is going mad here..?Why Ganguly expected the then National captain to revolt..?Captains are supposed to behave decently and balance the situation and that is exactly how Dravid did his duty. Coming to the issue of courage..who ran away from responsibility,after looking at Nagpur pitch against Australia and asked the then vice captain Dravid to lead the side on a bouncy pitch Mr Ganguly..?
Sourav revealed the truth on Greg Chappel's ability as a coach. Chappel was 'a well paid harmful virus' and BCCI did not understand this. He is responsible for the destruction of many good such as Irfan Pathan. He used to be India's strike bowler and he transformed him to one time pinch hitter batsman. We can see the commitment care of John Wright and Gary Kirsten we will remember their contribution for long. John Gloster as the support staff too did well.
As much as we hate Greg Chappel, one should agree that he shook the seniors from their slumber. They no longer could take their place in the team as granted. I am surprised that most of the people here seem to see only "revenge" in Ganguly's reply! But for sure, Greg had an attitude problem when it came to dealing with players....

The real point of a foreign coach is that he will not play politics,and seen to be unbiased. John Wright was and was seen as unbiased. Ditto Gary Kirsten. Duncan Fletcher has been largely silent so far. The problem with Chappell was that he played politics to the extent that none of the senior players except Dravid was in speaking terms with him, by the time he resigned. It is only fair that Ganguly retaliated. With regards to Ganguly's criticism of Dravid, what he said that Dravid wanted to keep the peace at all costs, and hence failed to take a stand.

Hmmmm .. Did we miss any such trick in the book to attack Darren Gough?? The real question is who attacks better on cricket ground.
