Why Gambhir
by Sunil Vaidya on Aug 29, 2011 10:50 AM  | Hide replies

Why Gambhir? Shouldnt this have happened to Sachin? He is taking unnecessary credit from the team members. All 30000 runs he has scored are on easy batting pitches.

if you are so sure sachin has made all his 30000 runs on fast tracks helping bowlers argue with your own name instead of being such a coward...

you want to express my views mixed with ur views and trying to confuse the issue...

Sachin has scored centuries in Perth , Melbourne , Edgbaston , Headingley , Johannesburg and many other grounds where the pitch has'never been "easy batting pitches ". If you don't like him , thats your personal opinion . Don't twist the facts to suit yourself .

Yes, Ganguly will be seen swinging his bat and moving his feet only after the ball has reached the wicket keeper. He is no longer Dada, he is Dadaji now.

Gautam is 100 % committed cricketer. In IPL only last match was issue while in all other matches he was fit and almost certain to play in West indies tour. You could see his commitment that despite blow on many occasion , he always stood up in fielding as per team’s requirement . Why raina , laxman has not got injury during fielding ? Gautam has desperately tried for catch so that india get the breakthrough. Dhoni the politician knows it well hence he has always asked him to stand near the bastman so that he can accommodate raina in test and ODI

Easy for who ? Have you ever tried taking a catch while backpedalling ? Try this exercise first - run 10 metres backwards while looking at a point about 25-30 metres above your head . Now imagine doing this if the point is moving . And then imagine positioning yourself accurately below that point . I don't think you'll get beyond the first step without falling on your back so for my conscience's sake , try this on a soft ground . Once you can finish all three steps correctly , come back and criticize Gambhir .
