are you nuts??? this injury was ssutained when playing in the last test and was unfortunate. how do you link this between playing in IPL
The youngsters from present generation do not like to toil hard therefore they prefer to bowl spinners than pace. We have physically very strong men exist in regions like Punjab and Delhi who could have become brilliant fast bowlers but unfortunately they are lazy and try to get more comfort and luxury than playing under the sun. BCCI should pick strong youngsters to groom as fast bowlers than playing unfit bowlers like Zaheer and Ishant or physically weak bowlers like Munaf, Sreeshanth & Praveen.
India does not need another Sachin. We need players like Dravid/Kaif who show the mettle when under pressure. 8/10 times Sachin the great falters and the job s done by the poor unsung hero Dravid.
We don't need players with big names who will remain in the team 4 10/15 yrs only bcoz they hv scored some big hundreds.
We need players who hv the temperament and the ability to win matches from absolute hopeless situations. I agree its easier said than done.. But at the top level we expect this.. If Aus, SA and even Pak can produce such players why can't we when we r the richest board n the world.
No more Sachin, Laxman etc.. We want players like Rahul Dravid...

When did your Kaif showed his mettle in Indian cricket? Your memory is very short. Laxman has great reputation for taking India to victory more than once in recent past. We may not need another Sachin but we certainly need a Laxman in Test side.

Laxman is a fighter. don't forget his innings in Australia, SA. He was the pillar of Indian test cricket.

laxman scores only against australia and no one else. sachin has never scored when India is in dumps. Only Dravid has rescued India time and again. One more point, the money making BCCI and its corrupt officials should be arrested and put in jail.

We need test batsman like Dravid,Laxman (dont forget his 281 in Eden against AUS and won that match from follow-on)and 3 bowlers like Zaheer.Indian board must make all pitches in India to be pace friendly and not spin friendly to produce pacers for away match.

Kapil only knows to shoot his mouth off without using his head. He is too old now even to play night games with his wife, leave alone bowling fast for india.

Parthiv should open with Sachin. Ishant is not in the team and instead of him & Tiwary Pragyan Oza and Oaron should be included.
