Mr. D S those 99 centuries that Sachin has scored is while playing for the country. And awards are given based on last year's performance. Last year Sachin was in brilliant form. Just 4 innings is not enough to judge a batsman. By the way I don't think his performance was dismal either. The pressure of 100th century weighed too much on him. First understand how award are givan and then comment.
if sachin would have borned in developed world , he would not have scored not even 10 centuries, he has also have highest number of time scoring below 10 runs in an innings, because of the favouritism received from marathi selectors he was able to play for more than 23 years, if you take players like ponting they are 1000 times better fitness and high quality cricket, ponting would have scored 200 centuries if he would have got the same amount of favouritism which sachin recieved, sachin should go and s@ck the c@ck of bal thakrey which will give him a good opportunity to become marathi prime minister of india lol

But Sachin also has the highest number of centuries. 99 to be precise. 51 in tests and 48 in ODIs. Anyone close to his record? Sachin is a far better player than Ponting. For a person to decide if the quality of cricket played by a batsman is good or not, he himself should have played cricket. In that aspect I think only Gavaskar can comment. Or have you scored 100 international centuies to say Sachin plays bad cricket?
