Ishant is one dimensional bowler. No swing,no seam,no pace,no brain,no variation

I think you're right. He does need some variation. But he did ok in England though..

so Dravid scores good in this series after 3-4 years and he becomes best whereas one of the top batsmen of the last few years Laxman needs to be dropped because he didn't do well...what a logic

Dear Vimalan,
Most of the people do not know cricket in this blog. They only go by the latest performance. Not only laxman but also sachin performed extremely well in the last 2 years and in the process india got to the number one spot which they lost now. But for these people they do not want sachin and laxman since they failed in one series in which someone had done better.
Reasons are : 1.Tendya pathetic performance and as usual his technical weakness against incoming, inswinging good length bowling that seam, pace, bounce, swing, spin. He have had 4 lbw decisions in this series. He holds the most number of lbw dismissals on foriegn pitches. 2.Spineless and wayward bowling by Sreeshant,Ishant,RP Singh spinners except Praveen

Having played 150 test matches, still he cant rectify his technical flaws agaisnt incoming.inswinging deliveries. He looks so insecured against incoming, inswinging balls and also he shuffling around stumps is another weakness. he does not possess solid defence like cook, perterson, dravid, sehwag to score big hundreds consistently

I am sorry but youyr thoughts on Sachin makes no sence. We all know Sachin tried to play solid defence and failed miserably. Remember first test? When he went in cell and got out? That has happened to him numerous time in past. How many time have you heard expert commenting that Sachin should play his natural game.. And Sachin trys to play his so called natural game and gets out..
Dravid basically plays defensive but smart game.. period
Basically, he needs to work lot lo harder on his game as he is no longer 27 but over 37 years now..

Just like what Dravid said after the forth test that he is old and he has to work really hard to justify his selection now.. The same applies to Sachin as well...
Remove Dhoni from the test captaincy and give it back to Rahul Dravid. Sack all the current paid selectors. Ask Zaheer and Shewag to give an explanation on their fitness. Get an explanation from the NCA
Indian players played well but their body didn't adjust to the climate conditions in England. And as a result, even when they put extra effort whether it is bowling or batting, their body didn't support them. When they try too hard, not wickets or runs but injuries were the result. Trying too hard when one’s body not warmed up, injury is the obvious result.
As a volley ball player, I know the influence of the climate has on a player’s performance. Even a small breeze can reduce the performance to the lowest level.
One solution is to ask the players to go to England at least a couple of months in advance to get their body acclimatized with the condition over there. This will certainly improve the result but still expecting their body flex the same way England players will be foolish. Again, due to hectic schedules, where is time to send the players early?
On the other hand, when England players come to India, it is a different story. In Indian hot climate condition, they warm up too early and therefore, their initial performance in India will be better but they fail to deliver as the series progresses and nearing to the end. Study the result of matches played in India and aboard to confirm my argument.

Sebastian - if you were paid 200 crore to play volleyball, the climate and winds would not affect you !
