good tactics by SRT
by terminator on Aug 23, 2011 11:36 AM  | Hide replies

I think this time SRT deliberately got out at 91,otherwise surely dhoni and co. will highlight that as the greatest achievement ever happened for indian cricket...

well,IF ICC WILL TAKE MY ADVICE.
by gali on Aug 23, 2011 11:36 AM

ALL THESE SO CALLED TALENTED PLAYERS ARE NOT FIT FOR PLAYING TESTS.

SEWAG,SACHIN,DHONI,GAMBHIR,RAINA,YUVRAJ ALL ARE WASTE FELLOWS.THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING IN TEST CRICKET.THEY SIMPLY CANNOT CHEW IT DOWN.

SACHIN HAS GONE DOWN IN MENTAL CAPABILITIES TEST,WE NEED TO REPLACE HIM AS SOON AS WE CAN.

DRAVID,LAXMAN,WASIM JAFFER OR EVEN ABHINAV MUKUND ARE BETTER.

COMING TO PACE BOWLERS,WE HAVE TO SELECT A TEAM BASED ON THE WICKET THEY FACE.IT WAS RIDICULOUS THAT INDIAN PACE ATTACK WAS IN UTTER TATTERS,YET SWANN COULD SURVIVE,SO INDIAN TEAM NEEDS TO MAKE THE NECESSARY CHANGES WITH REGARDS TO THE CONDITIONS THEY PLAY ON.

arey baba..he is the only one to score 91. in fact barring him and Dravid no one has scored anything in the series..so if someone should go, it is the young brigade only. and our fast bowling strength is joke..

match fixing necessary in tests too :
by terminator on Aug 23, 2011 11:27 AM

I believe this will start the decline of cricket in india..what boycott said is true..it is necessary for growth of other sports in india..But in ODIs as most of Indian matches (both old and coming)are fixed this may not happen soon

Mishra was bowled by Swann
by Atul Kumar on Aug 23, 2011 11:26 AM  | Hide replies

The article says "Their persistence was eventually rewarded when Swann had Mishra caught behind for 84 ..". This is not true. Mishra was bowled by Swann.

I felt amit mishra was certainly one of the better batsmen(!) than any other top order!
he certainly can bat up the order in future assignments!

SRT century
by terminator on Aug 23, 2011 11:20 AM  | Hide replies

I was anyway happy that SRT could not make 100 ,otherwise all other playing and non playing f o o ls will hang up on that with spineless praise and the rest of team would easily get past the fire from media and fans...now wait for ODI whitewash in the same fashion...

even if he would have hit the ton, we would have lost the game not by innings, a consolation.

Total surrender to the pace of Englishmen. Only Dravid saved the left out grace of the indian team.

According to me It was our bowling which let the team down.It was full of injury recovering guys and there was no fresh legs other than Praveen As I stated a month ago in this forum Aaron and Balaji should have gone for tests On a flat track in oval Swann was a nightmare Batters when they see 700 and 600 on the score board get intimidated. As Dravid said this English pace attack is the best in world cricket today Beating England on docile Indian wickets is no great deal And I am sure this english Pace attack will perform well in Mohali type wickets

Remember. Had he scored a century, people, again would have criticised that He was concerned only about his records, he was not worried about the team, sving the test and got out, immediately after scoring Century, So, in one way, by not scoring hundred, he did not give room to all Sachin bashers to point their gun towards him

Please note that we didnt have full play on the first day at Lord's as well as Oval...Inspite of that, we were capable of losing the match...It shows we can manage to lose in any given situation..lol
